Currently taking 125mcg Synthroid. I have a history of PTC and TT, so my endocrinologist wants to keep my TSH between 0.1 and 0.5. I'm feeling pretty well compared to a few months ago, but definitely not optimal. Most of my symptoms have not resolved; even if some have improved, others have gotten worse

Pisa Syndrome at Night?
I've had a few incidences of Pisa syndrome at night when getting up for bathroom. Leaning to the right, I couldn't straighten up until after I sat down on the toilet. It didn't dawn on me then, or maybe I was too sleepy, but reading about the tower of Pisa syndrome in Parkinson's got me questioning.

20dp5dt- beta is 5358- low???
Hello ladies, how are you today? ❤️ Had another beta today, result came at 5358- clinic said it’s fine but somehow was expecting a higher result- thoughts??? My progesterone has significantly increased after 2 injections of Prontogest to 99.4 (from 53.4 of Thursday!) so they’re happy for me to continue

ozurdex implant floating
I had my first Ozurdex implant almost 3 weeks ago and its still floating about in my vision. Its driving me crazy at times and is so distracting. My optician says he isn't too familiar with these implants and he can see a small threadlike floater, which I reckon must be the implant. If it is a floater

19dp5dt- remedies for Prontogest soreness?
Good morning beautiful ladies 🌸🌸🌸how are you all? The weather is awful in London, pouring down with rain and windy- going to be a chilled Sunday. I have a question for you please: I had my second Prontogest injection last night (hubby was FANTASTIC- such a delicate hand didn’t feel a thing! ❤️) and

Post egg retrieval/collection
Hello, I'm 2 days post egg retrieval and after managing to clear up the trapped wind with wind-eze capsules, I have an uncomfortable heaviness in my lower abdomen. When urinating there is added pressure on the lower stomach but I'm passing as much urine as is normal for me and drinking plenty 2-3litres

Got the go ahead , (but )
Got the go ahead for biological meds which is brilliant but my bloods came back and they think I may have latent TB so another blood test just to make sure ,because it was borderline and they think it may of been a mistake in the lab . If I have it’s 6 month of antibiotics then I can start the biological

CORONAVIRUS
Dr. Osborne had a webcast last night on how to protect yourself by building your immune system. He made interesting comments about certain vitamins in high doses on a temporary basis. He mentioned taking vitamin c throughout the day, a high dose of vitamin d for three days, a higher dose of vitamin

Muscle tone
Hi, sorry it's a long message. My husband was dx in October he had the eye exam, and saw the neurologist both agreed that he had psp. Since then he has lost the ability to walk without a walker or he falls. I wanted to ask is it normal to loose muscle in arms and legs? My love has fallen at least 2

Pegasys and sore eyes
I have ET and I inject pegasys 90 fortnightly. The dosage has now been increased to 135. Following this larger dose I experience very sore eyes. This is most intense for 3 or 4 days then eases off gradually. Does anyone else experience this side effect and any tips? Many thanks

ONLY 13 AND ITS HAPPENING
I’m very confused what’s happening. I am only 13. Have floaters, I see little flashes dots while reading nothing severe, and I get the black disk at night. I also have pretty sensitive eyes. I don’t see lines wavy and a grip looks normal. None of my symptoms seam to be that bad when I’m not focussed

Just a quick post as still cant see straight. Had the cataract op on Tuesday & my Surgeon said all went well. Had a problem with double vision & rang for advice. Very helpful & cannot understand why our hospital gets moaned about. Have ended up using a previous pair of glasses that dont have a prism

Oddest thing happened
Hi Everyone Prednisone sure can be a confusing medication. Been on pred for 3&1/2 years. Now on 12 mg. for two months. Since day one, I started growing fuzzy hair all over my face and shoulders. Then I switched to Rayos and started growing a thick prickley hair on my chin and less of the fuzzy hair.

ET and Echinacea
Was at my herbalist today and he mentioned Echinacea would help and for me to take drops in water. Does anyone else take this, apparently it helps white blood cells and the immune system, therfore preventing colds, etc.

LUPUS testing and advice.
I haven’t really posted on here much, if at all, before as I only have suspicions of Lupus/Sjogrens. I saw a GP last week (for other reason) and asked about proper testing for Lupus/Sjogrens as I have been living with lots of possible symptoms for many years. I also have hypothyroidism and though not

Very negative pre op assessment for diagnostic laparoscopy
I’ve had my pre op assessment this morning and I feel terrible after it. The nurse couldn’t have rushed it through quicker, when I asked her my questions she said ‘I’ve told you all this already’. She asked how long I’ve had symptoms for and I said 8 years and explained them and she was totally dismissive

Visual disturbance after eating?
Does anyone know what causes what I think might be white floaters in my eye after eating? I have been tested for Diabetes and was negative. It’s like a white bright bubble that floats up my left eye after eating?? Any ideas what could be causing this?

remaining scrap of vision blackening
My mum just called me to tell me that the tiny scrap of outlines in the top right of her right eye, which was her only "vision" left after going blind from late diagnosed GCA has started to blacken and fade yesterday and today. We have been reducing her steroid intake from 60mg at the end of Oct to 20mg
