Sore mouth
I’ve been having B12 injections every 2 weeks I’m now on my fourth, I’ve found a real improvement in most of my symptoms but still have burning feet and a really sore tongue and mouth, will this eventually improve?

Light at the end of the tunnel
I've been waiting to post about my recent experiences until I could say don't be disheartened when reading this as my experience isn't typical and does have a good outcome so I hope others will find something to help them. I've known for many years I have glaucoma in my right eye, have lost quite a lot

The eyes have it?
Afternoon all, Has anyone with an MPN every had VMT of the eyes, I have just been told after a second scan that my blurred vision is what the problem is, and being referred urgently, with the possibility of an operation to remove the gel that is detaching itself from the retina in both eyes. They told

Cataract procedure
I have just had a call from the eye clinic to book me in for a cataract op in two weeks time. This will be my first, so am feeling pretty terrified. I am going the week before that for a scan, measurements etc. I have been told I can have distance or reading strengths, had hoped for something in-between

SIBO and Elevated Liver Enzymes
I have had gastro issues the last two months after using a proton pump inhibitor in May and was finally diagnosed with SIBO on Monday. My GI started me on Rifaximin and Neomycin last night. She did a liver function panel test before I started on the antibiotics and the AST was 52 and the ALT was 73.

Effects of Pfizer.
Has anybody else had this problem? I was on Pegasys and then after my first Pfizer injection all my blood counts, haem, whites and platelets dropped dramatically. So my consultant stopped my Pegasys. This happened in January and my cc is still all low. My counts have been perfect for years before this

FEEL LIKE I’M GOING BLIND!
My anxiety and depersonalization are really bad at the moment… Yesterday I had a panic attack, and since then my vision has been kinda weird… I don’t know how to describe it, but I can’t focus on anything… My eyesight is “off” and I feel like I can’t see… I’m sure I’m going blind! I can’t focus on anything

CBD Oil
I am new to this and after following the posts for sometime I thought someone may have some advice. I have had AF for 3 years now without any major drama's so far but do suffer from a Sjogrens Syndrome which has numerous issues. I would like to try CBD oil for pain and anxiety but unsure of the effects

Update from Sunshine
I had a thought, as you do that I ought to contact the eye clinic and pose the following question - I have been given two dates, July 13th for biopsy on lower right eyelid and July 23rd for cataract on right eye, so is it ok to have the both procedures so close? The consultant phoned and said if I had

Eye feels weak/barely there
I'm about 7 weeks post tube shunt surgery and have been getting very low pressures around 2-4 causing blurry vision. I had gel injections in the eye yesterday to get the pressure up. This has resulted in a decrease in the blurryness (although still not 100%) but on the negative side my eye feels very

I feel i’ve caught MRSA at my Infusion Clinic. Anyone else had this?
I sometimes read the posts on here. But i’m not a ‘regular’. I’ve had RA since i was 21. (Turned 50 last month!) I have an Infliximab infusion every 6 weeks. I have iritis & glaucoma too. I’ve been getting serious ear infections since Nov 2019. Recurring all the bloody time. I’ve been feeling exhausted

Reducing Pegasys dose?
Hi gang! I’m currently on 90mcg Pegasys weekly and responding well with platelets down to 480 on last count. Because side effects are an issue for me (mostly just soooo tired of feeling tired!) I’m wondering about reducing the dose to see if fatigue improves 🤔 Obviously will talk to my haematologist

Are my side effects from adalimumab normal and will they fade?
I’ve recently been put on adalimumab for my RA. The first injection seemed like a wonder drug as I could feel the difference almost immediately and was moving in ways I haven’t for years. The second injection doesn’t seem to have done anything except show me some unfortunate side effects. Racing heart

retinopathy risk from hydroxychloroquine
I’ve been on 400mg of hydroxychloroquine for 12 years continuously. I’ve only been told recently that I’m actually over the recommended dose based on weight. Is anyone concerned about potentially retinopathy and/or has had eye investigations where deposits have been found? I attempted to reduce to 200mg

Aqueous Shunts and dry eye ointment.
I have had two shunts and the last one was March 23 rd this year. Although Hyabak eye drops do help with the symptoms of dry eye in the first eye ( operated on last December) usually by 4 or 5 pm that eye is quite sore despite the drops. A few evenings ago I started using Hycosan night ointment, this
