Good morning beautiful ladies πΈπΈπΈhow are you all?
The weather is awful in London, pouring down with rain and windy- going to be a chilled Sunday.
I have a question for you please: I had my second Prontogest injection last night (hubby was FANTASTIC- such a delicate hand didnβt feel a thing! β€οΈ) and Iβm starting to get REALLY sore. Like I canβt even touch the area. Sleeping on my left side but quite in pain. Tomorrow another injection plus bloods to check levels are rising as they should...
What can I do to ease the soreness?
Thank you very much for your suggestion, always so precious! πππ
For me the injection site was so sore after taking the injection for the first few days but it did ease up over time.
I found that do things at the time of the injections (I,e warm the vial, massage the area post injection, exercise for 5 mins to move the buttock) all made the injection move around as opposed to leaving a lump.
Also make sure the area is clean, so I used some cleansing wipes from my clinic before injecting into the area.
When I had lumps I tried to massage but always ensuring I had clean hands.
Sorry not much advice once lump has formed but your body does get used to it.
I also live in London and have been hibernating in storm Dennis. Hope it passes this evening.
Hi hun. I'm super sore as well. Have lentogest, lubion and fragmin injections. My stomach is all bruised up and I have lumps where the lentogest is injected. I have know tips unfortunately. Just wanted to say I know how you feel.
How are you coping with waiting for your viability scan? I dont think I'm coping well. I have no symptoms except being extremely tired and sore breasts (on and off).
I cant help feeling like something might go wrong. Its driving me mad. Dont know what to do to calm down.
Hey Rainbow! Iβm super tired too...think thatβs all we can feel at this early stage of pregnancy. I have 9 days left till my scan (Iβm not counting πππ) so Iβm taking it day by day, ticking off days off the calendar. Got to be patient and the scan day will arrive- think about how patient we have been so far πand how patient we will have to be, before having our babies in our arms! ππ€π»ππ€π»ππ€π»ππ€π»Letβs take one day at the time- stay strong β€οΈOur bubbaβs are taking our energies to grow stronger β€οΈSending love β€οΈ
Hey Iβm 6 weeks pregnant today and the nausea has been with me for the last week as well as bigger sore breasts and major fatigue. Iβm so anxious about my viability scan my clinic donβt scan until 8 weeks and my appointment is 8 weeks 6 days!
Iβm taking all my symptoms as a good sign but honestly I donβt think Iβm going to relax until the baby is here!!
I'm worried because I dont have nausea. I know not everyone has the same symptoms but symptoms spotting is driving me crazy.i know i shouldn't symptom spot but I genuinely cant help it. My thyroid was 3.11 2 days after my positive and although I'm not taking thyroid medication I am worries my thyroid will cause some problems. I never knew how hard this wait could be. Even more worse than the 2ww.
I totally understand, I think itβs because itβs become more real so the stakes have been raised. I didnβt get queasy until 5 weeks and most people get it at 6 so make the most of feeling nausea free just now. Iβve still got nearly three weeks until my scan it feels impossibly long!
Hold on in there! If you want to message me please do! This time feels so isolating! As you canβt tell anyone and in my circle no one has been through infertility so I donβt think they can appreciate the anxiety.
Yes I think that's the hardest thing. I can only talk to my husband and my mum and both of them are probably slightly sick of reassuring me. I have never felt so dibilitatied by anxiety.
Thanks so much for your kind reassurance . When your so used to getting bad news it's so hard to believe it's real.
