Double Vision
Aaacckkk! My double vision is driving me crazy. I can see close up but about 1 foot and everything doubles. Had a biopsy done Thurs to verify GCA. The blood test came back inconclusive. Any of you get rid of the double vision?

Sweet oil
Does anyone know if “sweet oil” dries in your ears or do you have to syringe it out 😭 mines mostly gone but i press a part of my ear and i can feel and hear the stickiness almost like a suction type of noise . And I don’t know if I should just wait it out or just use the hydrogen peroxide and then syringe

More issues going on with mom :/ I understand if you guys are sick of me posting. I just have no one now. And I DO need support.
So, there was an incident I guess... My moms wife has Amazon Prime. She’s always let me use it. I ordered some speakers, along with a 2 year warranty but on my own credit card. I mean, I always use my own credit card because I’m buying stuff for me? Why would I use someone else’s credit card?? Anyway

I have been diagnosed with shingles and recommended to take L-Lysine 500 mgs on an empty stomach. Will I still have to leave it an hour after I take my Levothyroxine before I take the L-Lysine? It was ask recommend to me to during apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach so I thought I’d take the L-Lysine

Just visiting
The saying goes that if March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb and that has been certainly true this year . After a shockingly depressing wet winter and early spring ,down in Devon we are now bathed in glorious sunshine with warm winds from the south which I hope will bring the industrious

On Wednesday my eye clinic phoned me, at first I thought it was to confirm my eye injection appointment the next day but instead it was a lady saying my consultant says I don’t need an injection for 4 months. So I made my case. I am in my very early 50’s I have DMO not AMD I only have 1 useable eye now

Saliva gland
Anyone had experience of blocked saliva glands? My husband drools and dribbles a lot. He now has pain below his jaw line. Hoping antibiotics will kick in soon.

Eylea - silicone
Hi, My husband has his second injection today and now has a black blob in his field of vision. He is worried that it is silicone oil from the syringe. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Steroids and eyes
Hi everyone. Well, I've spoken privately with a couple of ladies from the forum to get their advice. However, throwing it out there more broadly to everyone I may get to find out more. I remember reading a few posts recently about the effects that steroids can do to our eyes, but at the time I wan't

Parallels
If I look daily at the sorry saga of dealing with coronavirus in the UK (protective gear, tests [lack of], dilatory responses to viral progress earlier I'm struck by the similarity of responses to the virus and to smaller but important issues like considering thyroid therapy change. IS COLLAGEN SUPPLEMENT SAFE?
Hi all - Does anybody know anything about marine collagen/hyalauronic acid supplement? I’ve been taking this for years (Promotes good skin/hair). When I was diagnosed with limited systemic scleroderma, I asked my rheumatologist if I should stop taking the collagen, and he said it makes no difference.if

CORONA VIRUS / COVID-19/SARS COV-2 And Some Potential Help
This seems like a good time to start a thread discussing the latest developments regarding SARS COV-2 / Corona Virus(CV-19). Given that it seems to move quickly to new areas that were previously unaffected, being as prepared as is reasonably possible seems to make sense, but is there really a good way

Prontogest injection site bleeding
Hey, Hoping someone has experience with this. So I’m leading up to my second frozen embryo transfer and this time we are taking prontogest from the beginning rather than after the transfer has already taken place. So my partner administered the injection today and there was loads of blood afterwards

Floaters after Lucentis
Hi, I had my first injection of Lucentis 9days ago, but I still have two quite big floaters in my vision. Is this normal? I returned for a check up mid-week and the Edema at the back of my eye had gone down a lot. There was no inflammation, but my vision is still really bad. The floaters are incredibly

Worried about supplements.
I forgot to take my supplements today. DCA , Ubiquinol, Fish oil, Lithium orotate, vinpocetine, folic acid, vinpocitine and B1 and I really developed anxiety and the shakes. I took them after lunch and things settled down. Can anyone tell me which of these is essential for PD. I also have the helmet

Incarceration
I don’t know about the rest of you but I have these great plans for passing the time while I’m incarcerated. (Apart from the noose knitting! 😈) I’ve decided it’s great time to do all the things that I’ve shelved for so long. I am a sad creature because I’m actually looking on these things as being

Light sensitivity success. Big thumbs up, optometry rocks.
I've had a number of visual processing and light sensitivity issues after BI. The visual processing, pattern glare, was treated successfully with colorimetry methods, it took 14 months. At the beginning of March I was retested and a pair of transition lenses were prescribed, for sensitivity to bright
