Currently taking 125mcg Synthroid. I have a history of PTC and TT, so my endocrinologist wants to keep my TSH between 0.1 and 0.5. I'm feeling pretty well compared to a few months ago, but definitely not optimal. Most of my symptoms have not resolved; even if some have improved, others have gotten worse.
Still experiencing the following symptoms:
-dry mouth, dry eyes, dry skin, etc.
-indigestion
-hoarse voice
-fatigue
-muscle twitching
-joint and muscle pain
-cold intolerance
-constipation
Lab results:
TSH: 0.358 uIU/ml (0.45 - 4.5)
FT4: 1.39 ng/dl (0.82 - 1.77)
FT3: 2.7 pg/ml (2.0 - 4.4)
Vitamin D: 38.9 ng/ml (30 - 100)
Ferritin: 53 ng/ml (15 - 150)
B12: 832 pg/ml (232 - 1245)
Active B12: 1118 pg/ml (725 - 2045)
Folate: 11.9 ng/ml (> 3.0)
Cortisol: 7.3 ug/dl (AM: 6.2 - 19.4)
What do you think? Where are some areas that I might make meaningful improvements?
Thank you so much for your help; this forum has been a life saver for me.

I think your vitamin D and ferritin could be higher. Also why is your Doctor going by your TSH? They should be going by your T4 and T3 because the TSH is a pituitary gland hormone not a thyroid gland hormone. Your T3 looks too low as well. Hopefully some of the experts will be along to advise you shortly.
In cases of PTC, doctors keep an eye on TSH because suppressing it reduces the chances of recurrence. Otherwise, he's just a typical endocrinologist; if everything's in range then it's someone else's problem (mine).
I agree with your opinion on the Vit D, Ferritin, and T3. I just wonder how much difference a few more points will make. Not feeling super hopeful lately I guess. If you have had any success with those markers I'd love to hear about it.
