Cataract surgery & MS impact on vision
It's been magical: I just had cataract surgery on my right eye on Monday. And since then I no longer need glasses - short & long distance. Whoohoo The right eye happens to be the one that triggered the MS diagnosis (double vision) and whose nerve is most impacted by MS. I also thought the floaters in

How long do I need to stop Eliquis before eye surgery
I am thinking of having surgery on my eyes for Ectropion lower eye lid problem. I was told I would have to stop my Eliquis for 6 days before and two days after surgery. these seem long to me. I would like to know what is a reasonable time to go without the drug.

Importance of regular eye exams with PMR/GCA
I saw my very well equipped Optician today for a series of eye examinations, my last test was 2018, all was well. I had a peripheral vision test, an eye scan ( back of the eye etc) eye pressure. Various vision tests. I have learned that I have cataracts, a haemorrhage in one eye possibly caused by raised

First Eylea injection for wet AMD and my eye was so read afterwards and did hurt!
Really red eye and kind of blooddot in my eye is this normal after first Eylea injection? Or is this due to the ophthalmologist and the way she does it?

Can it be autoimmune?
Hi all, I hope you all are doing as fine as you can. I have written here my story previously with strange episodes I have been experiencing for the last 2.5 years. It started with sudden arrythmias, extreme tiredness(i couldn't make 500 meters without calling ER), and a feeling of "fever" in my eyes.

Dry eyes
Hi everyone, just one question. What do you take for dry itchy eye? I seem to be getting this now and then and it also stings. Do you ask for something from your doctor or go for over the counter relief ?

Do you take B1 in IM injection form?
My friend, who is now blind, has asked me to post a question on his behalf. The question is for anyone taking B1in INJECTION form. He asks- 1. Is everyone on thiamine injections taking 100mg x2 a week? 2. Has anyone who is taking B1 in the injection form, found the need to reduce the dosage? What

Didn't want to start from scratch so pushed it: 30 minutes complete! Last 10 was a mind over matter affair though!

Does anyone know about the connection between autoimmune disease and blepharitis? I have had eye inflamation for about four months now and it's getting worse.
