Hi, just introducing myself ✨

I'm Jingala, I'm 36 and I'm a new mum since January this year.

Like so many others, lockdown has meant weight gain, plus new motherhood = lots of weight gain. I don't feel happy at all with my body, and I hurt a lot. My BMI is now 40 and I really want to be in a safe weight bracket in case I get Covid19. Death is not an option.

I want to feel confident, not to worry all the time about what people think of me. I wish I could feel beautiful and confident, but I cannot.

I have previously tried weight watchers and slimming world, both with great results at first but then not after a while.

I have a bad knee injury and had surgery about 5 years ago, so they're both really suffering with my weight gain, making awful clicking noises and hurting more.

So I have decided to do something about this. I am getting married in 3 years but I have bought my wedding dress already. It's a medium and I will work to get into it! I also want to be a good influence on my daughter without giving her a complex!

I am swimming, waking and using the cross trainer. I am sticking to 1300 calories a day. Slow and steady wins the race!

Any hints and tips greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading xxx

Hey ,

Well done you and good luck on your new journey!

I use an app called calorie counter you that allows you to count how much your eating and fitness pal is even better!

Good luck
