What can I do? I'm in the UK
I have put on weight and cannot use a gym just
swimming
and one has to book a time slot.

Cold water swimming
I started sea
swimming
early morning in September last year and continued going after being diagnosed with PMR. On the days I don't go I find my aching and stiffness recur - has anyone else found cold water
swimming
helpful?

Chlorine?
Hello - I'm new here and just wanted to ask people a question I have recently joined a gym and deciding to
swimming
for cardio exercise - but I think it may be making my skin worse and causing flare ups - I also have had a bad stomach and I'm wondering if this is all connected.

45 min treadmill
It only became worse over time, but I wanted to finish my Conqueror English Channel challenge (yeah I run the channel instead of
swimming
it, spectacular, no?). So I held on till 45 minutes when I reached 4,17 km which was just what I needed to finish the challenge.

How to know whether your child should be medicated?
That said, now that it’s summer and the world is slowly re-opening, we’re getting back to our more typical schedule of daily
swimming
, tball, summer camp, more play dates, more hiking and camping… The busier we stay and the more time we spend out of the house, the more manageable all our symptoms seem

Some advice please.
Last week I was
swimming
in the local pool, and had stopped at the shallow end for a minute, when I noticed my arm floating about, and it looked like it didn’t belong to me. I could move it and swam up to the deep end and put my hand on the edge of the pool, but it fell off.

Pred and under-active thyroid
I really wonder if I am ever going to shake the weight off , have joined a slimming group to try and see if it helps but although I’m really good and stick to my diet I feel like I’m
swimming
against the tide to tell you the truth . Does any of your good selves have this kind of problem.

Sand martins and swimming
Started run in cloud but glad I wore shorts as sun came out and it felt so warm. Sand martins are also back nesting in cliffs near mine, summer is definetly on its way, although it looks today like it may have had second thoughts. Felt so good from run I had little swim in the sea. Only second one of

Liver discomfort & shoulder pain
Could never work out what it was - wasn’t bad enough for doctor, just figured I did it
swimming
or watching tv weirdly. I put on nearly 2 stone since Xmas - normally I’m slim and healthy though I go through periods of drinking too much wine. Only slightly overweight now and still v fit.

Sudden PMR flare up - any advice please?
Other than increasing my exercise a bit (tennis and
swimming
) nothing else has changed, no extra stress or other ill health. I SO don't want to up my Pred again, but if anyone has any advice on a quick 'short, sharp, shock' increase - how long? what dose?

Week 4 Run 2
I don't mind a bit of rain but if it's so heavy I get asked if I have been
swimming
that's rain stopped play. What a difference not running for a few days makes. I was struggling with the initial 3 minutes of running. My legs had forgotten how to run.
