A New Perspective on Exercise and Diet
Q: Is
swimming
good for your figure? A: If
swimming
good for figure, explain whale to me. Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle? A: Hey! 'Round' is also a shape! Well...I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

Swimming after immunisations for small baby
After his immunisations he will probably be newborn clothing size and I would like to take him
swimming
after then. Anyone with smaller babies got any recommendation for swimwear and swim nappies? I can only find 0-3 month products and while he will be that old, his size won't reflect that. Thanks

“SENSITIVE” lovely news for those following my ivf journey over 40
Poor Alice was
swimming
in meconium and had the cord wrapped around her neck twice and under her arm so couldn’t get out. Had a struggle to breathe properly but quickly regained control of breathing.

Flair and hot weather
Definitely over did everything in excitement: biking, walking and
swimming
and garding playing with granchildren. Then I was struck by some family issues with psychological stress, then a severe flare of diverticulitis. So as advices I gave up tapering.

Heatwave advise!
☀ Reapply suncreen AT LEAST every 2 hours (more often if perspiring and always straight after
swimming
). ☀ Make sure your sunscreen is in date! Look for the open jar symbol that will contain a number (i.e. 12 M) that’s the number of months you can safely use the sunscreen after opening.

Sea water
Hi, I went
swimming
in the British sea a few weeks back and afterwards my PT temporarily stopped for 1 whole week! Now it has come on again since but is nowhere near as chronic as it was before.

Confusing outcome from mitral valve repair
He wants to play out with his friends, go
swimming
, play football, do PE at school etc etc. We are just so scared of him overdoing it. My son has been on frusomide, enalapril and phenoxymethylpenicillin since last September plus asprin since surgery. Thankfully no warfarin.

Cold water swimming
Has anyone here had adverse effects with their arthritis after cold water
swimming
? I have quite severe arthritis in my ankle, but until recently it’s been managed quite successfully with steroid injections.

August Quest week 2
My Quest for week 2 is to do a few short runs and some more
swimming
. So.......... What is the Quest ? The aim of the Quest is to help you find a focus or goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the Quest period. The Quest takes one calendar month.

Running and

were what I did outside of work most days. To introduce myself, I am the Sola half of WillowandSola, we started C25K in March 2019 before the pandemic and changes to all our lives.

Waking up at 2am
I got back to a more or less normal sleep pattern and have recovered from covid I think, taking exercise, I started
swimming
again two weeks ago after a break from before covid. Has anyone got any ideas about how to get this under control? I have tried exercise and yoga.

Exercising at higher altitude with afib
Still, it has taken me some time and courage to slowly return to moderately-vigorous bicycle riding and moderately-vigorous lap
swimming
at near sea level here in Sacramento, California. I do that sort of exercise daily in addition to a couple miles of walking now with no problems so far.

Please help. Am I just making this up like my therapist says?
But my therapist still insists I am “
swimming
in my sh*t” At this point, I disagree. I love this therapist and have made he most progress I have in my life with any therapist. She is great. But this one thing, I cannot seem to shake. Am I really
swimming
in it?

Discharged from Cardio Physio this afternoon.
As an aside I told the physio I would be taking up the free
swimming
sessions for the over 60s and she gave me a leaflet for safe
swimming
which is interesting. I know someone asked on here a few weeks ago about hot tubs/Jacuzzis so I photographed the relevant paragraph. Something I didn't know!!

Leg hair
Just arrived at Turkey for an Easterbreak away , put my
swimming
shorts on and realized my legs have big bald patches . Considering I'm a very hairy person it looks very odd. Ha ha. Anyone else have this problem. Could it be thyroid related?

Its Friday the 1st July.
I still feel weak in the body but its something I can cope with, walking and
swimming
seem to be my default, cycling has taken a back seat seat (where I live it is very hilly, and them there hills are just to much).

Supplements and levothyroxine
I also would like to try and naturally boost my bottom of range testosterone (male 55) AND reduce muscle cramps (mostly when
swimming
but sometimes during sleep). Improving sleep duration and quality would be good too.
