Have you tried spas or hot springs to calm your heart?
This last year I have been
swimming
almost every day. After
swimming
I feel so relaxed and wonderful. With my work schedule I can only go to the pool in the evening, so I found a way to replace the pool in the morning with a carbon dioxide head bath.

My knees suck!
I have been told by a nurse I should try
swimming
instead of running because I am a bit plump. I have decided to heed caution to the wind and do running instead as that is free! Hehe

Prednisolone cured the initial pain in my legs and thighs but deep ache in my thighs & calves persists after 8 months. What can I expect ?
In May I was
swimming
20 - 30 lengths 5 times per week but had to occasionally stop
swimming
for a couple of weeks. The pain would ease but come back when I begun
swimming
- eventually I had to stop
swimming
.

Swimming
I'm feeling very proud of myself. I swam 60 lengths yesterday, that's 1500km! I could only do 14 lengths last week.

Referral to Action heart cardiac rehab at local hospital, what can I expect ?
As I struggle with chest pains quite a lot (mainly on evertion) cardiologist thinks I’ll benefi from cardiac rehab, plus I’m really keen to go
swimming
again , it was when I’d gone
swimming
that triggered the start of my cardiac symptoms that eventually lead to being told I needed a pacemaker .

I did it! I actually graduated!
I had loved getting back to
swimming
, and was so proud of my achievement. But...never one to do things by halves...I really wanted to get faster and more efficient. I took up
swimming
lessons.

Tendon issue - gutted!
I've been told to stop running 😱😭 I need to build up strength and stability through physio and also through things like either
swimming
or using a cycling machine on very low resistance. Which is a pain because the gym/
swimming
pool costs money which I don't currently have available.

nothing to be worried about ….
due to go away on the summer, but have been
swimming
recently, felt a bit conscious the first time, but after that I feel it is what it is, I can’t change it so it’s there for all to see ! Nowt to be embarrassed about, should be proud of what it represents and what we have been through !

Do many of you ever have a good day, ever day seems the same to me always bad, my head feels like its

Wild swimming with arrhythmias...
The only thing that upsets me is the thought of giving up wild
swimming
... Does anyone swim in British seas, lakes or rivers with arrhythmias? Or even do a Christmas day harbour swim? Or is that a complete no go? Thanks in advance x

Acquired long QTs
He also says I must not exercise for now I love
swimming
and walk every day.If next ecg the same I am to be referred to cardiologist.Would love your views on whether I can still do a 30 minute walk each day at the very least. Am 65 years old. Should I be worried?

what exercises are fun
would love to hear what people are doing for exercise and what results they are seeing.........
swimming
? biking? meditation? An alzheimer's huge study (N-1000) had patients do 3 things: 1. go vegetarian, 2. exercise 3-4x week, and 3.

*sensitive* 2nd round BFP-what can I do?
During the 2ww, I saw many posts that advised against baths,
swimming
and sex. I was just wondering now with transfer being 3 weeks ago if I can do all those things.
