would love to hear what people are doing for exercise and what results they are seeing.........swimming? biking? meditation? An alzheimer's huge study (N-1000) had patients do 3 things: 1. go vegetarian, 2. exercise 3-4x week, and 3. (most difficult to have compliance meditate 1 hr/day. with amazing results.
MY newest thing is an E-bike. you still can pedal hard but also throttle so if you are a ways from home and start "going off" with your meds, you can still get home!

I love my ebike for same reason. I will also add lazy, tired, not in the mood, ballgame on tv starts in 7 minutes or invited for a beer to your "going off" reason for using pedal assistance to get home quickly......
Not sure fun and exercise should be used together, but my favorites have been a bike on a trainer in my basement. There were studies a while back that pushing yourself for 40 minutes at 80-90 rpms was very good and possibly neuroprotective.
Also, pickleball has become popular and is fun for all. Any sport you enjoy, if you're moving and enjoying is great.. just my 2 cents.
Rock Steady Boxing!! It's been in existence for 18 yrs. I’ve been with them for nearly all the 18 yrs. It’s non-contact and I believe it slows the progression. There are now 800+ affiliates in every state and in several countries. Everyone that joins has a fun time, as well everyone gets a great workout. Basically we do the workout 🏋️♀️ that a boxer would do plus some. We’re like a support group also. We can go there and not feel self conscious because everyone there is feeling some of the same things that you are. You can talk about PD things and everyone knows how you are feeling. Look at some of the testimonials on the website….🥊
I've joined my local Rock Study Boxing group last year. My symptoms have considerably diminished and I feel so much better overall. I highly recommend.
Swimming is great, especially because it allows me to work on movement simetry as I have unilateral PD and i have to strengthen my left side of the body.
