No more prescriptions for antihistamines on the NHS
However, I received a text from the
surgery
to say that they are no longer able to prescribe Hydroxyzine which is an antihistamine and have to buy it over the counter. Fine I thought, but when I called into a pharmacy I was told its not possible to buy Hydroxyzine over the counter.

should I start interferon?
I received a package from the hospital via my
surgery
with the pre- filled syringes. I’m in a complete quandary now as I’m unsure about proceeding as I have an added complication. I was put on statins four/ five months ago because of a slightly raised cholesterol test.

Advice - cysts and TTC
I had
surgery
last June where they found stage 4 endo. I had 2 large chocolate cysts one on my left around 8cm and the one on my right 10cm. The
surgery
wasn’t done in a endo centre which now I realise probably should have. He didn’t remove all the right cyst due to bowel involvement.

Endometriosis and Emetephobia
I am now 19 and will most likely be having a laparoscopy to diagnose it at some point this year, however, in the past couple of years I have developed severe emetephobia (fear of throwing up) and am quite worried that the laparoscopy may trigger it due to potential nausea and vomiting from the

Epilepsy resulting from surgery to temporal lobe
Surgery
in 1989 showed they were benign epidermoid cysts which were removed. However, the craniotomy triggered epilepsy.... infrequent daytime absences and regular nocturnal seizures. Absences were quickly controlled with AED medication, but took 10 years to find clobazam.

Good chilly May morning 🥶
Rozy is doing better pretty much healed up from
surgery
and ear infection 😊 I’m just about over my cold/crud that I’ve had since Friday and be back to meetings tonight 👍🏼 Been missing everyone and several friends have been touching base with me and making sure I’m okay.

Result of CT angiogram
Got a phone call from the
surgery
to say my GP will ring me in 3 weeks to see how I'm getting on. Chased up the respiratory clinic to see when I might get my first appointment. Now got one for end of September.

Brachyboost and PSA progression free survival question
I thought it was much higher and that this was the reason for people recommending brachytherapy boost for high risk over
surgery
. Is this a typo or is this the case? I will probably reach out tomorrow to clarify with her office if I can, but curious if anyone knows the answer. Thank you!

Problem with NHS policy - again!
I am not looking forward to my holiday now because I am fearing I will be ill and it's all down to my GP
surgery
again. What the hell as this got to do with "do no harm"? I feel completely lost.

Circumcision in 2 days
I was due to have this done about a year ago but the anesthetist decided to postpone because of a fear of complications after
surgery
, as I have a medical condition, and the doctor advised they weren’t going to bandage the cut.
