I ordered from Germany last year, not realising the expiry date. I have 2 boxes of 10 ampoules that expired December 2023.. 😕 can I still use them.On a positive note I took a chance to call my GP surgery for a prescription it must be my lucky year, they said yes!! I had previously saved conversations that I'd had ready for my annual fight so will have new box coming, however the chemist have previously issued short dated boxes so I will check and refuse them and hopefully go back later in the year to get up to date ones.
My daughter is still fighting her GP but I'm giving her all information I've found on here.

hello, provided the ampoules have been stored correctly, they should be alright, with no to little loss of efficacy. Trying them will be the only way 🙂 to know . Best wishes, x
I used some out-of-date ampoules last year but, more recently, happened to need blood tests so asked for B12/Folate to be checked. It was only 300 (whatever units) so had dropped significantly as previous checks had been 700 (whatever units). I've since bought up-to-date ampoules and, having various symptoms which may be related to low levels, I've decided to do alt days for a couple of weeks, then back to 2-3 monthly.
Consequently, I wouldn't recommend using expired ampoules (unless very recently out-of-date)
I have been told by my pharmacy if the liquid is not opalescent but clear, there is nothing wrong with the ampoules and you can use them far after sell by date. I keep mine in a fridge on a top shelf which also helps with preserving the injection liquid. I hope this put your mind at ease.
Take them , I'm using b12 that's currently 2 years out of date , I've compared the effects with a new batch and there's no difference at all between the two .
I have just checked my pack and it’s dated September 2023, I keep them in their box on top shelf of fridge and will carry on SI until they run out, I have used older ones on and had no problems.
