Bursitis of toes & Steroid Injection
I had
surgery
Oct 22 for severe arthritis in the large toe & at first I feared it had spread. Two trips to GP (July & November 23) & finally preliminary diagnosis of Morton's Neuroma because of a burning nerve pain. Instead ultrasound has shown an inflamed bursa pressing on a nerve.

I was diagnosed high grade stage 3c peritoneal in Autumn 2021, I have had carbo/taxol/avastin, debulking
surgery
. Followed by avastin alone which did not work, then carbo/caelyx which worked very well. I have had just over a year on Niraparib but sadly it is no longer working.

Thank you
I have given the
surgery
in the past all the information regarding iron levels for RLS patients but obviously a further test was not thought necessary ( l would guess that it is at least 12 months since l had one) Thank you again for all your help

Aortic valve replacement
Good morning , I’m now on the waiting list at Papworth for
surgery
following my latest echo and review with my cardiologist. I note from his letter to the hospital that he has recommended a valve replacement with LAA exclusion .

PSA post Salvage Radiation
Prior post: My husband, at diagnosis had 3+4 on a couple of samples and chose to have
surgery
. He had clean margins and reached undetectable PSA after Prostatectomy. Near the end of 5th year after
surgery
his PSA became detectable. He did salvage radiation at .09 PSA.

Finally got flu vax!
After 4+ months of waiting told 'on the list' many times, nurse from gp
surgery
came. Says don't know what district nurses are doing lately. 🤷‍♀️ Also gave me pneumonia vax- never had or been offered before🤔 No Covid as run out. Can I sue if I contract Covid or is it all forgotten about now?

reaction to Spikevax XBB 1.5Moderna
At that time I wondered if it was because I had it at the very same time as the flu jab, despite voicing my misgivings at my GP
surgery
. It may well have been, but as I say, it has happened again! But better than getting covid (which I have avoided 👍🙏 so far).

Tibilone experiences
I have very severe endometriosis and adenomyosis and am awaiting
surgery
which will likely involve having a stoma. I’ve previously had left ovary removed and both tubes and I’ve recently been told my right ovary is failing.

UK Brain Neurosurgeron recommendation?
I am scared of undergoing
surgery
with a doctor that is inexperienced or that butchered other patients before, so do you have any recommendations if you or someone you know had a successful brain
surgery
in the UK?

Short Pulse disease of steroid and A fib
I am desperately trying to avoid
surgery
. PT and massage therapy are helping but I want to take quick trip home to New Orleans and thought a pulse dose of steroids might make the 3 hour flight/trip ( hanging out with family) a bit more tolerable.

Fibroscan result waiting time?
I started this journey in November 2023 after asking for a general check-up at my GP
surgery
because of some non-liver related issues. I had no awareness at all that my liver could be damaged.

Long term use of Clopidogrel causing blood in urine
She was told by the Doctors that she has bladder cancer and is booked in for
surgery
so she has stopped taking Clopidogrel for 4 days. The blood in the urine has stopped and her urine is clear and has been for a couple of days now.

Advice - cysts and TTC
I had
surgery
last June where they found stage 4 endo. I had 2 large chocolate cysts one on my left around 8cm and the one on my right 10cm. The
surgery
wasn’t done in a endo centre which now I realise probably should have. He didn’t remove all the right cyst due to bowel involvement.
