implant Surgery Tomorrow
The dental surgeon says to take 10 mg prednisolone in the morning before having the tooth extracted and implant put in. She knows I’m currently on 3-3.5 mg and has PMR long term. She says the extra is to help with the anxiety/stress and that as my body likely isn’t producing cortisol of its own this

Worsening Stress Incontinence 20 Months After Surgery?
Good post
surgery
pathology (no positive margins or extracapular extension). I didn't need pads about 5 months after
surgery
. I of course experienced stress incontinence after but at 1 year it was virtually non-existent (or at least to a point I didn't notice).

new trial uses water vapor to treat prostate cancer
”This treatment does not require chemotherapy, radiation, or
surgery
; and as such, patients are not subjected to the harsh side effects that can come from traditional cancer treatments.”

It's been eight months since I found out I will need a transplant
I'm scheduled for a fistula
surgery
in the next couple of weeks so I can do hemodialysis. I am not able to do peritoneal dialysis. After the
surgery
, it will still be a couple of months before they can even use that spot for dialysis, and it sounds like I'll need it sooner. I'm stressed.

Bowell prolapse
I have been advised by my Doctor that I could have keyhole
surgery
to correct it. Has anyone else had this
surgery
and if so what was their experience.?

Thoracic aortic aneurysm.
I have declined
surgery
and wonder if there is anyone else in the same position . Everyone seems to have had or is awaiting
surgery
and I feel a bit on my own with this. Is it very unusual to decline
surgery
?

7 weeks post-op, urinating still a concern
Aside from that, can't recommend the
surgery
enough, due on my 2nd period & so far, both I have had no PMDD symptoms (in comparison) which was one of the main reasons for the
surgery
:)

Newly Diagnosed
I had an appointment in Blackburn hospital yesterday (7th May) & they offered
surgery
to remove the prostate. A friend of mine had the
surgery
in 2013 and he is fine, he reccommends having the
surgery
. Robin Weston did his operation and my friend speaks highly of him.

Just saying hello as a new member
This resulted in an emergency
surgery
that left me with a huge zipper scar down my middle, a colostomy and a mountain of bills. Thankfully I am a candidate for reconnection
surgery
once things are completely healed from the tumor removal.

confused whether to go ahead with laparoscopy
I have changed my diet reduced stress levels and exercised more I’ve waited for
surgery
for over 1.5 years. I had an ultrasound and it shows pcos and my ovary is stuck to my uterus. As my pain is manageable would you put your body through the
surgery
? Will it get worse if I leave it?

another surgery just 6 months after my first!
Since my
surgery
, my pain has been worse than before, particularly when passing urine. This was a new symptom for me as I never had any issues with passing urine before
surgery
. Now it hurts to hold my wee and sometimes I retain it and can’t go despite feeling desperate.
