Thanks everyone for your replies to my previous post re taking Alendronic Acid.

All the information posted has been very helpful and answered things I was not told or aware of.

Result it my Surgery is giving me a Telephone Consultation next Thursday to my Sister and Carer.

Do ask your sister to speak to the Royal Osteoporosis Society nurses re AA before speaking to your GP . They are extremely helpful & have all the up to date information on Biophosphonates [AA is in that category) Helpful as GPs can be I know from personal experience they are not all up to date on these remedies ….& you don’t want to be chopping & changing after you start taking them,
