TTG ABS test results
As usual my
surgery
have put normal within range. Does anyone have any thoughts on these levels? I have done another B12 blood test online, not through my
surgery
, and it has come back borderline low.

anyone had a successful surgery with spinal cord or dorsal root ganglion stimulator surgery?
Hi - been suffering with pudendal pain due to sports for about 15 years. Has anyone tried spinal cord or dorsal root ganglion stimulators and was it successful? I’m so tired of this pain. I just want to live a normal life. I’m currently on 30mg of notriptyline to help with pain. Thank you

Need reassurance for upcoming fistula surgery
I expressed to the surgeon that I want an experienced surgeon and did not want a resident to do the
surgery
. He told me it is a teaching hospital and the residents do
surgery
. He basically told me that’s how things are done and I don’t have a choice.

mitral valve open heart surgery.
Thank you all so much for your good wishes before my mitral valve
surgery
, they certainly put me in a positive mindset beforehand 😊 As many people have said the nurses and people caring for you are truly amazing 🤍 I can’t quite believe I’ve done it ,come out the other side and been discharged today

Nose surgery??
I had a major jaw
surgery
in 2022 to correct a severe underbite, and resultant chronic pain. I've been super self conscious of my nose (and the rest of my face) since and am having therapy. But I'm also considering getting nose
surgery
. What are your thoughts? What would you change?

He has started excreting mucus and poo 'normally' which we understand is quite common post
surgery
but it is causing him some pain. Is the pain normal? Also, at times he is struggling to pee.

Open Heart Surgery Ahead…
Born with a bicuspid valve, I guessed this day was coming…just not so soon! I will be 56 when they open my chest on August 15th. I would much rather have the TAVR procedure but at my age the long term planning doesn’t support that method at this time. So, OHD it is. I have significant procedural anxiety

Open Heart Surgery Groups
I live in Brighton and I recently had open heart
surgery
(at The Royal Brompton in London) Does anyone know of any support groups for people who have been through similar
surgery
. I am in my 40s but would love to have people to chat to of any age who have been through the same thing.

CATARACT SURGERY & PRED
Today they called to say I could have my right eye cataract
surgery
done this Monday. Do you think it advisable to do so and also, if I do should I drop the pred back down to 11 mg starting tonight? I would not like waiting til July, but is it worth risking whatever.

Recent dropping of guideline "Post from your own experience".
Currently, I am one of the participants in discussions about
surgery
and ultrasensitive PSA testing. I have considerable experiences with both and share mine.
