Hi I'm 59 had a small umblical hernia repair without mesh 8 months ago I was off work for 3months unable to eat properly and doubled over in pain. This stopped but I'm now left with high bp so am now on meds!
Any ideas any one? I've been back to the private hospital where I had the surgery and tryed to speak with the nhs surgeon who did the op with a nothing to do with me attudide
My question why has this surgery increased my BP?

hi I’m so sorry to hear this, my high blood pressure was found when I was in hospital getting obs done before a gastrophy, they wernt going to do it and I. Always had good bp, sent letter to my Gp and sure enough my bp is very high, I’m now in Ramipril 10mg but still can’t get it down. I also have recently found to have a tiny fat containing umbilical hernia only found through a ct with co yeast as it’s not showing externally, I get occasionally excruciating pain but last week the pain came with a full day & night of green vomit, it is internal and tiny but just wondering if it became strangulated or twisted to cause me so much pain and vomiting. Can I ask if you had anything similar with yours please
