Coming out of lockdown with a new scar and feeling nervous
I'm new here so this feels a bit scary! Last autumn I had a bad bike accident, I went flying and the pavement took a lot of the skin from around my eye. I was sent to the burns unit and came home with two skin grafts on my face. They are healing well, but some days are really hard and it still shocks

Rash
My hand started to ache one evening then the next evening I found a rash on my arm which has secondary lymphoedema I immediately thought cellulitis and started antibiotics, but I never had fever or went downhill as on other occasions. My question is, is this grumbling cellulitis?Or no infection and just

What to do about shin splints...
:( at the same time, I’m conscious that the worst the
shin
splints
get, the longer I’d have to rest to heal. Any tips? ❤️

Cold sores
I have retired at last but in so much pain all the time and cold sore after cold sores, after losing my husband five years ago I have a partner who treats me very well but I’m feeling like a pain in the neck to him, last year I had ulcers on my leg that took 5 months to heal he would change my dressings

meningitis vaccine
Do CLL patients who have never had meningitis vaccine need two doses? I am asking about the meningitis vaccine for strains ACWY, such as Menactra, not the Hib/MenC vaccine. It looks like two doses are recommended based on google search but my Dr did not mention getting a second dose.

Stuck on week 4
Started coach to 5k late last year and got posterior
shin
splints
on W4R2 in right leg putting me out for 4 weeks. Started the program from scratch with some proper running shoes. This time I’ve got to W4R3 and developed a calf strain.

Finally completed! (with a good dose of shin splints)
Heya all, I've been lurking and looking here for the past few weeks, appreciating all the great tips and support being given, but I had to make an account to say that I got to week 9 and can now run 30 mins non stop!! I feel so proud of myself, in the first week, the 60 second runs were a real push

I’m a runner!!
They feel fine now so I’m trying not to panic that it’s an early sign of
shin
splints
. For now I’m just so happy and proud of how far I’ve come 😊

First week done
Day one I had bad
shin
splints
but finished the run. Day two was perfectly fine. Day three I had some shin pain and also lower calf muscle discomfort but did complete the run. All happy today, no aches, and did a three mile walk which I have been trying to do every day I wasn't doing C25k.
