Splinter hemorages

I have noticed since I ve had my second vaccine I have a lot of splinter hemorages on my finger nails has anyone else had this

Hi Clova. I am friends with a mother/daughter duo who have SLE. Mother has APS and Crohns as well. Daughter has Crohns. They had a real hard time after the second vaccine shot. Daughter’s Crohns flared something horrible leaving her lupus uncontrolled.

Both the mother and myself have been bruising a lot lately. So much so she has been asked to stop her blood thinner temporarily. No splinter hemorrhages (although I do get them when I’m super sick).

I’ve been having a lot of flaring type symptoms lately but energy hasn’t been too bad. Rheum thinks it might’ve been the vaccine. I also get IVIG which should have COVID antibodies in it as well. I am skipping this months infusion.

Question I always have is: If this is from the vaccine, I don’t want to know what the virus would do to me.

Yes this vaccine does seem to affect the blood. I have Aps too but was taken off blood thinners last year by the rheumy. I did disagree but have noticed my blood is very thin and takes a while to clot if I cut myself. I don’t think this virus would be good for lupus sufferers as a lot of the symptoms are similar to lupus and long covid would be a disaster
