Hi, was wondering if anyone can help me please. I`ve got this red lump thing on my on my face, it`s under/besides a mole it`s hard to see but under the naked eye it looks red and a little flakey and it looks raised. When I touch it it`s lumpy and feels different to the other moles on my face. I took these photos which shows you the outline. I dunno if it is a spot as I have been a bit spotty lately and I have seen a bit of pus on the area. I`ve leaving it for a few days to see if it will go away but so far it hasn`t, I`ve only really noticed this this week tbh. May this be skin cancer?
I`ve added photos below.

Your clearly very worried. Keep it spotlessly clean. Go see a pharmacist in the morning for advice. I used to get those around period time, like boils or acne . We are not doctors. You need to see someone to put your mind at rest. You might find it will just go down on its own. So see the pharmacist or see you GP on Monday am . Goodnight
I agree with the others - get checked out. However, I notice on one of your pics, the skin looks a little raised/bumpy. I had a similar issue when my sulfasalazine was increased. Face went very red all of a sudden and I had lots of little raised bumps all over my face. Face felt tight and sore. I was prescribed antibiotics and steroids. Have you had anything new lately that could cause an issue? If it's just a single spot though, obviously it could be something else. Either way, see a pharmacist or a GP, as the others say. Put your mind to rest. Hope you get it sorted soon xx
I get blind pimples around my period time as well. Obviously get it checked out by a doctor, but if you do have a tendency for “volcano spots” as I affectionately call them, then I’d highly recommend ZitSticka Killa patches. They are expensive but they get rid of blind pimples in about 2 days...like magic.
If your worried draw round it and photo to send to GP but it looks to me just like a spot or cyst? have you been squeezing it ? if you have that can form a spot into a cyst which is like a cheesy lump under the skin. But I stress that is just my opinion and I'm not a doctor, if you're worried then really you must see your GP. I just think it looks like the cyst I had on my neck which was removed by GP.
Thought that might be the case and it's the reason spots should not be squeezed. Leave it alone and if anything just put a good spot cream/toothpaste/antiseptic like TCP which might help to dry it out. Don't keep worrying it by touching it and the chances of it being skin cancer are really remote. Something like Clinique mild facial scrub might help as well as simple or pears soap.
Try not to worry but as the others have said see your GP. I had a similar thing could feel a lump under a facial mole and it turned out to be a little cyst for which I was given antibiotics.
Hi Emma, Let your doc see it on Monday and if you are doing this via Zoom, they may want to refer you to a dermatologist if they can’t see it closely enough and the GP may even do that anyhow, reason being the dermatologists see these things all the time of course, and have special UV lights with better magnification than the GPs. I hope it subsides and is something inflammatory as result of a med as Redrobins mentioned, which will disappear quickly. Hope so.
Hi emmaaaar, I had one on my leg last year and I had to initially send a picture link to GP, he then called to have a look at it so I suggest contact to be on safe side, mine was fine. My mum on the other hand had skin cancer and had it removed, please always check x
An update it is still around however today a small red lump has appeared on the mole like a small red slit, it`s a very small lump so I think I will get it checked.
Dear emmaaaar18, I seem to have the same issue, would you please give an update? Have you seen a doctor and what have they said? thank you very much in advance
