Iβm very pleased to say that I stuck with my plan and trundled round Goodwood motor racing circuitποΈπ in a very good time, all things consideredππ
I was lucky to have excellent support from running club friends, many of whom were also taking part. A special mention must go to two club friends (Jayne & Shirley) πββοΈπββοΈwho ran with me most of the way, providing encouragement to me all the timeπππ
Iβm so pleased I got round without any problems and Iβm going to βJeffβ future events based on that. Iβm sure theyβll be pleased to hear about my exploits at my Cardiac Rehab sessions too!πβ€οΈ

You have come so far David_G and Iβm so happy for you. What a fantastic result, and even more so after what youβve been through. Well done! ππ πββοΈ
That is absolutely brilliant David; David 6 Heart Problem 0 !You absolutely smashed it. Having a couple of people running alongside is a great help. Well done Jayne and Shirley ππ. Really pleased for you.
Thanks Beachcomber66 π My next event is London Winter Run at the end of the monthπββοΈπββοΈ Iβll use the same technique then, as it worked so well this time π
Considering you were jeffing that is an amazing time David_G . Well done you and your lovely running club friends for keeping you company. I couldnβt stay in zone 2 in those lap times.
We'll done, and it's great isn't it when training and a good plan comes together. Sounds like you really enjoyed it, which is half the battle I find. Here's to the next one!ππ
I missed this David and I apologise... HUGE well done to you!
Gosh, what a journey you have travelled since your Heart attack !
Building back to running, recovering, and ongoing maintenance of that recovery... PLUS, giving so, so much back in your new voluntary role , working with other Heart attack victims...
Totally awesome... and completely inspirational... just splendid xxx
