Finished week 4 last night. I completed the programme nearly 5 years ago and since losing my running mojo a couple of years ago, I've tried doing the programme again several times again in the past couple of years but have never had the self discipline to keep with it again. So this is the furthest I've managed to get and feeling quite proud of myself.
That first 5 minute run at the start of the week kicked my butt, I nearly stopped twice but kept with it, so by run 3 of the 5 minute run still wasn't easy but not as hard as the very first one.
Feeling really motivated to run again now.

Fantastic! So many people really love couch to 5k for a comeback. It seems to be working wonders for you. Some runs are just tough for whatever reason and it’s so nice when you can move on and the next one is better. Super satisfying to notice you’re getting fitter.
You’re in a great place right now-hold on to it! ❤️💪🏃♀️
Ah it’s so good to hear that you’ve cracked week 4! And that you’ve got your motivation back. You already know the programme works and soon you’ll be completing those longer runs. I’ve been in and out lots since graduating in 2020 (lockdown cliché) but I always find it helps to remember why I’m doing it and that keeps me motivated. That and the fact I now have a four legged running companion who gets more of a buzz out of it than I do!! I look forward to following your journey towards regraduation and cheering you over the finish line 😊
Well done you and welcome! Sow and steady as you go and do please pop onto the Strength and Flex Forum too to get some great ideas for supporting your running body!
