3 Year Runniversary!
And more than that, I kept
running
! I like
running
! 5K runs are still a regular part of my week and something I actively look forward to. Itโs been even better since I moved as I have some beautiful routes where I am now!

75 minute low HR Run โ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
At one time not so long ago 5 minutes was a long time to be
running
! I did a proper warm up of walking, jogging and a few strides. Then I was ready to start!

Was determined not to let the week pass without
running
at all, so stuck to my guns, wouldn't be swayed by offers to go shopping, have another cup of tea, chat for ages about "the amazing puppetry in Fraggle Rock", (not my POV I have to say๐) there'll be time for all of that.

How has your
been this week? What sorts of runs have you been doing? Have you had any triumphs or challenges? What are your plans for next week? Iโve had a great week. Iโm aiming to be
running
three times a week consistently and Iโve hit that with three very different runs.

Early run, 9k Runs Club!
I found a loo after 8am, after gingerly NOT
running
through town to the seafront, and rather exploded. Kit needed washing more than usual!

Update on appointment with professor Hughes
Iโll be contacting my GP once he gets the report from Prof Hughes and see if I can get the option 3 up and
running
, fingers crossed. We did also discuss about Tociuzimab but no real chance of getting this for PMR โYETโ..

The run I planned and the run I ran (ranned???)
The reality, woke at 8, out of bed around 9,
running
by 9.30, 3k covered, hot. Then there was the route. The paths are overgrown which makes for slow going so I wanted to run along the quayside.

Nike Run Club 10k PlanโฆWeek 1 liftoff!
Iโve been
running
long enough to go out on consecutive days but I doubt Iโll be doing five runs a week! Thereโs something super exciting about kicking off a new plan at next year! Anyone tempted to join me in road (or treadmill/trail!) testing this one?

NRC 10k plan: Week 3 Killer Fartlek aka 30 On 30 Off
Thankfully the 30 seconds timing was back to what it should be but by now I was
running
into a very stiff SW breeze, whose direction felt like it was changing to deliberately push me back. It was like
running
against a physical barrier.

wk7run3(revisited)
First issue was my
running
phone ( an old one) didnโt switch off when I put it away on Saturday so it was dead, had to get my current phone and download the podcast on there, then THAT phone doesnโt recognise my
running
headphones!! So I found the ones I use with THAT phone and then I was ready.

4.5K Rainy Intervals Run ๐ง๏ธ๐
I wasnโt looking forward to
running
this morning. The forecast was rain and although itโs milder than the last few days, I enjoyed
running
in the cold on Saturday. Rain is not my friend.

Wk 5 - Run 2
When
running
, I kept thinking ok, this is just a five minute run that we did all last week along with a three minute run tacked on. We've been doing those for some time. It helped. Hope that helps anyone facing Wk 5.

hip pain
hi Iโm on week 7 of couch to 5k but had to stop this week due to severe hip pain, I feel gutted, seeing a physio tomorrow and hoping I donโt have to stop
running
, I really love it. Anyone else had this? I am 43, never ran in the past and I am 3 stone overweight which I am working on.

Anyone run โdiagonalsโ for speed?๐
In a nutshell, it uses a football pitch to structure your session -
running
the diagonals and then recovering by jogging/walking along the side or end before repeating. I have been out and tried this this morning (pretty pattern above) and really enjoyed it (6 diagonals was plenty for me today!

Saturday Long Run ๐๐โ
I no longer have a coach, but I know she would have set 2hrs 15 minutes on my calendar
running
at low HR. That would take me up to about 14K. Well now! I got to thinking! I wonder if I could do those 2 extra kms and go for a 10 miler? This was a secret aim at the back of my brain.
