Willpower and how to increase it.
If there's one thing that comes in handy when you decide to
quit
smoking
, diet, exercise, or any other habit you want to grow or get rid of it's willpower and did you know, you only have so much of it to go around.

Approaching Four Months!
Well nearly at my next mile stone. 23rd Jan I will be four months smoke free. After getting over the anxious period of giving up the NRT, I don't actually crave anymore. The only real reminder that I smoked is this cough! It clears and cones back, clears and comes back! I still moving the brown crud

Is there an easier way to get Champix from the NHS than having to go through my registered GP?
I cannot always get time to visit my GP or stop smoking clinic at my GP's surgery. I had stopped previously with Champix and found it the best way for me to stop, I only had 4 weeks worth but this stopped me for almost 4 months, until the cravings returned just as strong as they were before... Patches

New Here
Hi everyone. I'm now in my second day of quitting and I'm finding it tough but not too bad. However i have been snacking on jaffa cakes and peanuts quite a lot though. I'm not a big fan of fruit so not sure what else i should snack on. I'm reasonably active as i play football and go to the gym occasionally

Now off NRT :-)
After what seems like forever, I'm now off any NRT. It's was one hell of a ride and I would feel a lot more happy about it if my anxiety was not such pain in the arse! But I'm back at work now, everyday gets just that little bit easier (only very little) and I'm looking forward to a smoke free and

Could you please tell me why my breathlessness has got worse since stopping smoking.i have asthma and chronic bronchitis so this puts me at level 2 of copd, I have no intention of starting to smoke again as this is my 3 month mark, but would like to know why I am finding the breathlessness unbearable
