Ok, so after all the positive response and feedback I got from this forum i could`nt look for any more excuses and decided to JUST DO IT! I have decided to leave all my fears and worries and i hit the road. I returned less than an hour ago from my first run and sat down until now trying to get my temperature and breathing back to normal. It was hell with the breathing and the sweating....BUT SO MUCH FUN! Best of all is that I am doing it. I can`t believe that i can keep up with Laura never mind the running part. I haven`t run since i was 13 unless something chased me or unless there was a pizza delivery bike in front of me. NO more excuses. NO more turn around! I`m doing it and i WILL graduate. Even if i have to do some weeks more than once. I`ts been 2 months since i quit smoking so i believe the breathing will become easier. But hey...here i am, doing something i never though i will ever do!

Great post, well done on your run and on giving up the cigarettes - you could put the money saved towards some lovely new trainers or running gear (just a thought!)
Good luck and keep posting!
