Willpower and how to increase it.

If there's one thing that comes in handy when you decide to quit smoking, diet, exercise, or any other habit you want to grow or get rid of it's willpower and did you know, you only have so much of it to go around. Found this interesting article on the subject of willpower and how you might increase it, on what appears to be quite an interesting website. I think when they were giving out willpower and self control I was there right at the back of the queue but apparently you can attempt to train yourself to have a little bit more.

We can put our old lighters to good use and use them to toast our marshmallows!

Hi Sin, this is brilliant - Really interesting.

I am quite good with short term willpower, but have to work at it to keep up whatever it is I have started.. If that makes sense.

When reading through the 'stress-brain loop' diagram, I quite often have terrible trouble remembering words - so to cover up I pop a very quickly made up one in it's place! :-/

I love the marshmallow clip, especially the little girl who made her marshmallow like an apple core!

This is an article that is worth a re-read from time to time. Something I shall certainly do :-)

Thanks for sharing :-)
