Quit smoking, gums are sore and on FIRE...
Is there anything you suggest to help ease this pain? I am also getting a sore throat here and there, but It's mainly my gums (In particular, a sore spot now). In about 2 days It will be a complete month of no smoking for me after smoking 2 packs a day for the past 5 years, 1 pack a day for some years

My mum's just been diagnosed with small cell carcinoma.
She was diagnosed with COPD in September 2012 and
quit
her 50 year
smoking
habit at that point. A chest scan then showed nothing. Due to her COPD she obviously has to be careful about avoiding chest infections and as a result her GP prescribed antibiotics to clear up a cough/cold.

PETS. :)
Do you understand how your smoking may be affecting your pets? By Emjay. Some of you remember the following blog I posted a few months back now. However, further studies show that your pet dog may be smoking up to 15 cigarettes each day! Please see the following news article for further information

ecigs. i have been reading the posts on here and listening to the media coverage on this over the last couple of days with much dissmay
i was a smoker for over 40 years untill i picked up an ecig and havt gone back to ciggies since. we are all on this site to give up smoking. this product does exactly that! so why are people, the media and most importantly the nhs so negative about it. what we should be doing is lobbeying the goverment

Ok people im back and haven't posted in over a month. Well some of my stomach symptoms I had have gone away after quitting.
Now I still have boughts of shortness of breath. I don't have asthma or copd and had a clean xray but I keep having this shortness of breath. Are my lungs still healing? Feels like someone stepping on my chest and almost panic sometimes which I take anxiety pills to help that now. Im 36 and smoked

In truth, what I have said doesn't really matter because the whole point of this site is to help people
quit
smoking
and as long as that is achieved what does it really matter who does or doesn't post.

My Quit September 2013
It’s time to
quit
smoking
for ever. I decided to set my
quit
date for the 1st of September 2013. I would do this quit using patches, starting at 25mg 16 hours a day. This seemed like a good plan.
