3 months of freedom, 6 months back in a cell, but today I am ready to STOP
Hi everyone, my fellow positive and passionate people. You all helped me very much end of 2014 when I stopped my filthy habit. I'd started in my late teens, had a seven year cessation from 20-27 (a girlfriend wouldn't have it so I stopped to keep her), and then ploughed away again on 10 marlboro lights

E-cigi, non smoking
I have not smoked for only just 2 weeks now, and been using an e-vapour device to keep me going (still
smoking
effectively but with e-cigi) I had
quit
before for around 3 months around a year and a half ago, and had gain around three mouth ulcers and my gums where incredibly inflamed and sore.

How many of you
quit
smoking
by vaping? How long have you been doing it? How did it effect your breathing? Would you still rather have a regular smoke? Thanks Rubyxx ๐ ๐

Hello my name is Scott and I am Running4MyWife.
I
quit
smoking
6 yrs ago because I wanted to be more active. We wanted to go hiking, play Basketball with our son, go salmon fishing with our grandson and spend as much time enjoying life together before her disease says we can't do those things anymore.ย

Almost 3 months in being a non smoker !!!!!
I am wondering when does a person start to feel better. I find I am tired and coughing a lot still after 11 weeks of no cigarettes. I do notice my lungs do not ache like they use to so that is positive, and I have not had a lung infection so far like I use to often. too often! I am using the E-Cig it

Now I'm WAY addicted to vaping instead???
I
quit
smoking
almost a year ago, but I've become increasingly more dependent on my e cig. My goal wasn't just to have the e cig forever instead; my goal was to use it as a means to quit and then eventually quit that too. I've been really unsuccessful every time I've tried. Any suggestions?

I am having a really tough time of it at the moment - for some reason, I'm finding this more difficult than I did before my holiday. I'm still using the vape stick but the cravings are NASTY. Thank god for this site - it's sooooooo nice to be able to have a rant with other like minded people! If I

Was supposed to get chest CT today
I
quit
smoking
in Jan, I exercise as much as I can everyday, make myself breathless as much as possible. In fact I get more anxious from SOB at rest than I do when I am active. Not sure if my reluctance makes sense to anyone. Plus it costs 150$ co-pay.

BE AWARE
I haven't posted on here for a long, long time and I know there will be some that won't read this because I have written it but I have to warn you about this because it could affect your loved one as it has mine. Take one 69 year old man who smoked (please note the tense of this word) 15 to 20 cigarettes

Heart is trying to kill me
My biggest problem is
smoking
. I am trying to
quit
....I tried the patch, I still want the cigarette. January 5, 2016, I see my doctor. She is talking Champix. (I don't think that I spelled that right). I am afraid to take it because of the medication that I take for depression.
