Day 36
In fact everything annoys me more than when I was
smoking
. Before I
quit
I didn't mind waiting for my girlfriend.... or those loud people (kids) .... or any of the millions of things that make up life. I hope this feeling is temporary!!!!!!! Weird rambling statement ended............

Can't find the right time
Hi everyone, I'm on day 25 of Champix and I'm still
smoking
. I think I need to
quit
by the 5 week mark really but I'm not sure. Most of the cigarettes I have, i only have half. I feel a bit disappointed in myself and in Champix. I just can't seem to set a date and stick with it.

I'm new here and have health anxiety
I have stopped drinking coffee altogether and am on a harm-reduction regime with
smoking
, aiming to
quit
altogether, and doing relaxation exercises like calm breathing and visualization. I also pray a lot these days.

I decided to
quit
smoking
a month ago. I am using the patch. I did great until a week ago when i went out and thought i could have one in the morning (my most missed smoke). That turned into one here ..one there.. and BAM. Im stuck again. I feel depressed that i failed. I still have my patch on.

Guns feels like a thousand knives attacking them
I
quit
smoking
on Feb 7, 2017 after using Chantix for 12 days. Now my gums feels as though a thousand mini knives are attacking them. They are not bleeding at all, just in extreme pain. The upside to the gum pain is I can not eat my cravings away so I breathe and pray through them.

Getting frustrated
When I
quit
smoking
over 12 years ago I was on the American lung association chat room and that helped me with my quit. I am hoping that this sight will do the same thing.

And if possible share my experiences with you all, I was diagnosed with copd in 2011 and beleive it or not I
quit
smoking
in 2005, I am 68 and I attend the local gym at least 4 times a week, whilst there I use the treadmill at a speed of 5.3 and an incline which fluctuates from 20 down to 9 on the random

It doesn't get easier
This unnecessary puff will lead to
smoking
full time, then wanting to
quit
, then suffering equally when quitting all over again :)

Bigjess question and hopes
I had
quit
the
smoking
drugs and drinking and improved my diet. Then I started having bad anxiety and depression. It really sucks to make the kind of life changes just to wind up with anxiety and high blood pressure. Later found to have high blood sugar.

Allan Carr's Book, Easy Way to quit Smoking
I read this book about twenty years ago and quit for twenty years! The other night I stupidly took a puff from my friend's cigarette and within one week, I was smoking almost two packs a day again! I would highly recommend this book. He doesn't tell you how to quit, but he makes you want to quit -
