How do you know when you should worry?
I have recently
quit
smoking
and so I'm not sure if smoking caused the sudden short of breath or what but I smoked for a long time and while I did get short of breath running or going up stairs it was nothing like now where I get short of breath just walking around my house or talking..

Trying again..
I've done 3 days so far, I'm using patches provided by the
quit
smoking
clinic. I'm going there again tomorrow for more patches. I have nicorette lozenges but they give me a bad stomach so I don't want to use them.

Back again
Unfortunately I didn't
quit
but went back to full time
smoking
. Anyway, I'm on day 1 of champix and going to try again. Apart from the obvious health benefits, it costs $47 a packet of 30 in Australia now.

Feeling positive
Quit
smoking
3 months ago so now it’s time to get the weight off. Only 4 stone to go. Feeling motivated, went to the beach yesterday and didn’t even have an ice cream or chips . Good to know there’s support here because no doubt I’ll hit a difficult week at some point.

Hello all you lovely people, I hope you are all well and keeping positive about your
quit
journeys. When we decide to
quit
smoking
, many of us think "how will I manage without a cigarette" Others think okay I have quit , I shall be a new and healthy person from now on.

Juul/head pressure
Not 100% certain, but I've been using a Juul since Feb when I
quit
smoking
, about a month ago I started having extreme pressure in my head, I switched to lower nicotine % and for 3 days it went away, I went back to higher nicotine % yesterday (they were out of the lower) and bam I woke up with the same

Hi all, I'm new here and I am deciding to
quit
cold turkey following previous unsuccessful attempts to reduce
smoking
/use a vape/use nicotine supplements. My problem is that I very much enjoy smoking and more so enjoy the routine of it.

How Does Smoking Affect Sleep??
Nicotine withdrawal and sleep
Some people experience extreme fatigue once they
quit
smoking
, especially if they go cold turkey. Our brains rely on a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine to keep us awake and alert.

Recovering From a
Relapse
If you've smoked one cigarette (or more), junkie thinking has gotten its way. It will continue to influence you if you let it.

Factors Identified for Risk of Second Cancer in CLL Following BTK Inhibition
Note that these findings are correlations and more studies are needed, but if you needed an incentive to
quit
smoking
, perhaps this report will help.

Angry Bird
Sad to say that after 10 months of being
quit
I picked up the nasty habit again. I have been
smoking
for two weeks and tried quitting on Saturday. Woke up really angry and unmotivated on Sunday. So depressing. Has anyone out there gone through this - waking up angry and completely unmotivated?
