I made it to 6 months!!!!!
But since I
quit
smoking
people have felt my wrath. I have no problem telling people off now. I warned my family in the beginning of my quit. They have been pretty good. Once in a while my husband forgets. I remind him that I have 40 years of anger inside.

8 months 22 days!
Hey! It’s been quite awhile since I last posted but here I am all smoke free and ish! I honestly no longer count but the app gives me milestone reminders. Aside from occasional wheezing, I often forget that nicotine was such a big part of my life. No cravings, I can smell people’s breath even when

What can I do to slow down the weight gain, since I quit smoking?
I am on day 34, which I love, but I have gained 10 pounds since quitting. Is this normal and will it taper off?

Quit smoking 2 days ago
Hi all, I found out I am pregnant 2 days ago and stopped smoking immediately (I don’t know how many weeks I am yet). With all the hormones and withdrawal from nicotine it’s so hard. It sounds silly, but I can’t stop crying and feel so sensitive. Does anyone have any tips to help? I booked in for hypnotherapy

Almost 5 weeks quit
I quit vaping on 28th October 2019 and I want to tell you the story of how and why in order that hopefully it will help other people just like I have found solace in this group. The moment happened when I’d hired a beach buggy and upon returning said buggy I left my vape in the glove compartment.

A whole year, I think
I almost missed it. That’s how little I think about smoking these days. I haven’t used a tracker, so I don’t know exactly how much money I’ve saved, I also always used to lie about how much I smoked, but at least 4 and often 6 packets a week at £8.00 or £9.00 a packet is at least £1800.00 .Lot of money

STOPPED SMOKING
I have talked to people who ave
quit
smoking
any where from 10 to 15 years , and they say their breathing has never gotten any better. Does anyone have an answer as to why breathing would get worse ?

4 days No vaping
Well today was day 4, the heavy cravings have subsided and I may be speaking too soon, but this is easier than I thought It would be. I understand nicotine is out the system after 72 hours so that mark has passed that now. I'm am eating a fair bit more and will have to make sure I don't swap one crutch

Feeling lost
Recently I️ had heart palpitations and I️t scared me so I️ had to
quit
smoking
and I’ve been dealing with smoking withdrawal and anxiety and panic attacks are the main issues. I️ am very new to the anxiety and panic attack as I️ have never had them before.

Are these withdrawal symptoms?
I am new to this forum and stumbled upon it to see if the symptoms I'm experiencing in my body are actually just a result of quitting
smoking
. I
quit
cold turkey 7 weeks ago after
smoking
for 11 years (I started at 12, I'm 23 now).

The Power of Our Thought.
I
quit
smoking
8 years ago and never looked back. Narcotics a couple years ago, Xanax, Ativan, and Adderall all a little over a year ago and now Pot 5 weeks ago. I never suffered during withdrawal, but I did self taper the benzodiazapines because of the potential for seizures.

Trying to quit on anti-psychotics
The problem I'm having is that my dose was increased recently and I haven't been able to
quit
smoking
. I don't know if I should just do it, and what the consequences of that will be on a high dose of anti-psychotics, and an anti-depressant, fluoxetine.

Mind Games
I keep telling myself that I may as well start smoking again if I am going to feel this dreadful for the rest of my life. I’ve been here before so know that these are just tricks the mind plays with you to get you to start again. Having said that though it really would be easier if I felt joyful and

4 Months today!
Very pleased to say it’s 4 months today since I
quit
smoking
with the help of Champix. So, anyone just starting their journey - hang in there - you can do it!! I was 70 in June when I quit, having smoked for 50 years.
