A whole year, I think

I almost missed it. That’s how little I think about smoking these days. I haven’t used a tracker, so I don’t know exactly how much money I’ve saved, I also always used to lie about how much I smoked, but at least 4 and often 6 packets a week at £8.00 or £9.00 a packet is at least £1800.00 .Lot of money, which is why I can afford the fancy 2 night break in the New Forest that I am going to tomorrow. And as I eat fancy dinners and indulge in a facial, I will not think for one moment that I don’t deserve it.

My health is better, my skin and hair look great. I smell delicious and my husband really loves me, and there is plenty of me to love!

I thought I was the most addicted smoker in the world, I had so many failed attempts behind me. I thought I would die with a fag in my hand.

Best of all is the freedom from self disgust and feeling like a failure, and thinking all the time about smoking, when I could have one, what people thought of me, do I smell of it, have I got cancer or heart disease or Copd or intermittent claudication yet. Bleurgh it was horrible.

Thank you to this site, for being here, and the admin and the people who post, especially lovely Bonnielala.

Onwards and Upwards!

Thank you for the fireworks but I’ve got dogs they don’t like them. Could I have cake and Prosecco instead? Such a diva!

Aww MM, we did it girl, can you believe it 1 year!!!!! I hope you had an amazing time in the New Forest, we were hoping to do something tomorrow, but have show house, hoping to get a buyer for the house, then we can make our plans for Isle of Man. Thank you so much for all of your support over the past year MM, we really did help each other out and we got through it, you are right about not smelling of stinky ciggies, I am also not sure what I have saved....cause I have been spending on craft supplies every month instead of ciggies LOL, onwards and upwards dear friend, send lots of love and BIG hugsxxx

Hello bestie. Fab time in the new forest. Cost a fortune, don’t care! So important to mark it, I think or we might forget how hard it was. And it really was.

Best of luck with the sale , big changes afoot, bet you wouldn’t have done it if you hadn’t stopped smoking, you would have been too busy drugging yourself!
