Just did my first run
quit
smoking
and now need to lose around 20kgs of weight. I'm in my mid 50's and apart from being overweight am not that unfit but I have not run since I was in my teens. So glad to have finally started this program and found such a supportive forum to use as a resource.

Recidivist. From the Latin recidīvus. Synonyms: Me. Antonyms: Not me.
Still pledging to
quit
smoking
. I loved it last year. I really got into the running, but then struggled with my knee and just lost my way. I do that a lot. I'm like one of those robot vacuum cleaners that you see that's inexplicably ended up 3 miles from home.

Five months today for me!
Today marks five months since I
quit
smoking
, with the help of champix. I have had a couple of out of the blue cravings in the last week. But happy to say they are easier to deal with now. My sweet tooth is still missing. So I have not gained back the ten pounds that I lost when I started my quit.

Quit for 48 hours then panicked having a hard time getting motivated again
I
quit
smoking
8 hours before and made it 48 hours then just panicked. I don't even know what I was panicking about. I just completely lost it and started
smoking
again. I'm trying to
quit
again but now I just can't find the motivation to start.

Water water water 💦
Day four since quitting cold turkey. Oh my god I never thought it would be this hard!! Emotionally and physically. I’ve been sleeping loads and exercising every day. My top tips for getting through those first three days: 1) WATER - like all the time. You will be going to the toilet a lot... 2) Exercise

Yo team - It’s funny reading back at my old messages and realizing that I was bloody naive and thought I’d cracked it. I realized i hadn’t beat my addiction when work suddenly became very quiet and all I was left with was my addict, and you guessed it, my mind twisted it’s way around to making me think

Fall time
I find that any sort of exercise reminds me why I
quit
smoking
. This way I have no time for smoking.

Today is day 3 smoke free.. I’m having a hard time with my breathing. I feel like I can not get a good deep breath. This was not like this before I stopped smoking. Anyone else have a problem like this? Kinda making me nervous.. thanks

Day 80 and vigilant
I’ve been a part of this quit nicotine cycle for years! After 35 years of puffing away for all reasons, when I was sad, happy, joyful, excited any emotion really, I smoked! I also hated smoking! The love hate that was strong! I’ve made the break even though I’m one of the ones that go through crap to

Difficulty moving forward.
After I
quit
smoking
anxiety and stress hit me at an all time high and to this day I have not been able to control it the way I would like too. I just want to be able to wake up in the morning and look forward to my day. Not be afraid of everything.

My bad😒
So far I had to
quit
smoking
. Me! And I'm still NOT HAPPY about it! I had the surgery, and and it hurts! New pain is NOT OK! I can deal with old pain, but new pain on top of old pain? No! Just no! So I called the Drs and said I need meds. Morning and night. 2 each. Not asking for Alot. Hahaha.

Trying to kick nicotine for good! The final boss: vaping 55mg nic salts
I tried to
quit
smoking
cigarettes in 2016 on my 2 year birthday and made it 90 days and then got sucked in again. I remember those 90 days were some of the most difficult days I'd ever had in my life and that was with nicotine gum and occasional hits off of someone's vape at work.

I started smoking after quitting 5 years ago
I was so stressed out in the hospital environment that I started
smoking
again and kidded myself that it would be easy to
quit
. Now I'm
smoking
around 10 cigarettes a day and it's so annoying AND expensive and bad for my health. I am 53 years old and I live on my own.

Fun News - Have Quit again. (the 1 w/the finger/hand/arm predicament)
I showed him my
quit
smoking
app & how much $ I've saved so far, how many cigs I haven't smoked & how many days I'm been abstinent from the Nic. I then asked them, let's do a kiss! It was maybe a 3 second kiss & then I asked him if he smelled smoke near my nostrils and he said no.
