I have had really bad problems with bleeding for yrs, constantly on iron tabs, even been in hospital for 3 blood transfusions. 2 weeks ago I had an app with my doctor & hes detected a massive fibroid, which isn't helping matters. I have been prescribed asmya, 5mg, for 3 months in the hope it shrinks

Hi everyone, I'm new to the community. My husband has CLL, just out of a 4 year remission post-FCR. His hemoglobin dropped in January to 8.5, has gone as low as 6.4 (for which he was hospitalized). He got 2 rounds of B+R, which shrunk his nodes right away but hgb remains hovering between 7-8, requiring

Hi Due to having severe acne for 12 years I was referred to a dermatologist to be put forward for roaccutane. As everybody knows, it's a very serious drug and has dangerous side effects. Because of this I'm having to have monthly blood tests, pregnancy tests. My first blood test established that I was

What a day!
I saw Rheumy today. She is switching me to Orencia. Only now it will be infusions not injections. She wants stronger than injections. She is also not happy with Neurologist starting Lyrica again. So they may discontinue that as well? Who knows. I just took Humira injection and feel terrible. I had X-ray

Sickle Cell Anemia Treatment With Hydroxy Urea
I have been taking Hydroxy Urea (1000mg/day) from last 14 years (2001) and had no transfusions since then. I am 27 years old. The crises have decreased to 3/4 per year which last 3 to 4 days. I usually use Panadol & Nuberol as pain killer and drink plenty of water during pain. I am usually involved
