treatment etc was over a period of two weeks and for that period I took NO Steriods. As I write this my neck issue - always up to now being on the right side has now spread to my left side. This seems to indicate that PMR is still with me.

It’s been seven hours and 49 days...
Been tough 7 weeks since calf injury with physio treatment and losing much of my hard earned fitness, more importantly slowing my recovery from heart surgery which was a key motivational factor for me doing this... This weekend picked myself up, dusted off trainers unsure on fitness levels tentatively

Physio seems to be working... 😁
I haven't posted for a while, because I got fed up with saying 'Yay! I've been for a run and nothing hurts' only to get a new, unrelated injury come on within a few hours of posting. So, after 10 weeks of problem after problem things seem to have settled down. I've run every other day for 2 weeks (6

Hip/glute/leg pain?
Hello! (I’m undiagnosed so just curious if this mirrors anyone’s experience with endometriosis or if it’s something else!) Does anyone gets hip/buttock pain outside of their period - without pelvic pain? I know some women say their pain radiates down from their pelvis but generally I don’t really

Pain that is not inflammatory, how did you deal with it? What did your dr recommend?
Hi all! So in general i am doing okay. Unfortunately, no matter how better I get my hands, wrists, ankle and feet are in CONSTANT pain. I type for my job, have to travel to work and I am a part-time student (luckily right now is online) which just make it so much worse. I use compression gloves, muscle

Chronic back pain
stiffness in my back and down my legs when I'm walking, I've had a scan 6 years ago and they say I have arthritis of my 5 vertebra, I've had this chronic pain for 6 years now but it's only when I'm walking, I'm perfectly pain free when I'm at rest, I've had all the usual treatments like pain medication

? ? RA??
I've had sacroiliac/hip pain for years and over the last year or so I've had intermittent pain/swelling of my big knuckles (where my fingers join my hands). Worse in my non dominant hand. A physio video consultation at my gp has done an urgent rheumatology referral which I have on Friday and I must

Prednisolone side effects
I know many of you have taken prednisolone long term and have had bad side effects and would like to know how quickly they appeared? Walking holiday!
Hi everyone, I haven’t posted for a while as I’ve been injured🙁 Happily I seem to be on the mend but I’m waiting for a physio appointment, just to make sure🙂🤞 In the meantime I’ve been on holiday in Derbyshire where I managed to get lots of walking done and eat lots of lovely food too😋 These photos

Advice and a question please
Apologies for boring post. So a bit down in the dumps. Today should have been W3R1 but my L knee is hurting so I'm resting up. It's probably my fault. I know the guide says do this on the flat. My area is steep hills so I thought I would start as I meant to carry on. I think lesson learned. I rest up

A new day
Woke up not feeling so stuff nose and chest or strong anxiety. Easy wake up. Started my boost drink with taking meds. Going to meet hospice meds halfway. Give it a try and see if there is anything to how they wanting to do it. Have myself on a morning plan. Turn on my Christian music first, then breathing

Women Physio sessions for Moderate Prolapse
Rectal pain carries on before periods and I still have rectal bleeding during periods. I had a first session with a woman physio to control the prolapse to see if it would improve the rectal and back pain. I have anterior and posterior vaginal wall prolapse. I have been examined by gynaecologist and

Amitriptyline with co-drydamol
I’m in a lot of pain at the moment and have just cried my eyes out as I’m feeling so useless. I now also have osteoarthritis in my right hip and knee diagnosed last week, but they also found a meniscus ligament tear in my inner knee. I have been told to double or treble my 10mg dose of Amitriptyline
