C25K graduation post 🏆
Hi all, I don’t know if any of you remember my previous posts. I started this back in Oct/Nov time. I was loving it but then injured my right shin on wk 4. I took 4 wks out as it was painful walking and then started the program again. I found out my daughter was also doing the program when I was on wk3

Secondary Progressive MS
Hi Friends, Last Friday, I was diagnosed with Secondary Progressive MS from my new Neurologist. It’s been making me feel scared and worried sometimes of what’s to come. I had a severe relapse in Feb this year and I’ve been recovering at home since. For over 5 weeks now, I’ve been doing Physical therapy

Help with Pudendal Nerve Neuralgia
Pudendal neuralgia. Hi, can you help or share? It seems that I have problems with my pudendal nerve and this roaming, changing pain is not good as some will know. I have a good physio and will investigate but I wonder what others have done with this. Physio thinks PD is most likely and it fits with

Spring deterioration?
Hello! It's so nice to see the new leaves, flowers etc. The joys of spring. But does spring have a negative effect on PMR? I first got it 3 years ago in March and I've noticed that around March/April in 2019, 2020 and now again, I have to increase the dose of Pred to deal with a relapse. Anybody else

A bit of advice please
I have a niggling hip and I’ve tried various stretches etc and have reduced my distance but it’s still there in the background. It doesn’t hurt when I run just later and sometimes wakes me at night. Can I ask when people are going to see physios are they going to private physio consultation s or through

Some Philosophical Musings
Warning – rather long rambling post alert! (but might be worth a read) So, I’ve been trying to work out when my 1-year runniversary is. It’s a bit difficult since a)I didn’t log my early runs 🙄 b)I had a false start after straining my calf on Week1 Run2 by trying to go too fast when I probably didn’

I've been for a run!!!
Off the IC at last! Hopefully, I'll stay off this time. After sustaining an ankle injury 4 and a half weeks ago, due to having weak glutes, I got the OK from the physio and managed 2 short runs before my knee on the other side went. Grrrrrrr. Back to the physio last Thursday. Waited until the knee pain

The London Lupus & Rheumatology Centre
I am currently doing
physiotherapy
which has been struggle. I am not sure what else I can do. So maybe seeking help from The London Lupus & Rheumatology Centre. The prices are insane. A new patient consultation is ÂŁ240 and follow-up consultation is ÂŁ215. Other tests could be ÂŁ700 and upwards.

Pain in Ribs/Costocondritis
Hi, I have been getting chronic pain in the left bottom ribs and back at same point for last 2 & 1/2 years. It initially started with a bad chest infection/ cough for 6 weeks. The pain comes in episodes which lasts for few weeks or months. All X-rays/reports come normal and even got checked for cancer

Medication reliability
I am undergoing medical treatment with nerve conduction tests,
physiotherapy
and scans. I’ve also been given medication to take, Co-Codamaol, Pregabalin, Tramadol, Naproxen and more. As i have been on these medications since the injury occurred i believe i have become reliant on them.

I'm 33, married and ready to have a baby but I have vaginismus.
I was undergoing women's
physiotherapy
and have had psychosexual counselling, but due to Covid19 my treatment has been stopped- Huge shame. I'm so afraid of having a baby due to the pre natal invasive exams, insemination/conception, child birth itself and everything in between and beyond.

semi update
Hello all - hope you are all doing well, I dip in and out of the forum but trying not to get too involved until I have a better picture of my situation. My MSUS scans are next week on Wednesday and I will update then about procedure and cost etc. In the meantime, I thought I would let you all know that

Sore pelvis after sex
I have had chronic inflammation/pain in my pelvis for around 5 years. The condition has appeared to manifest as an ache in the pelvis (mainly rectum) that appears less than 24 hours after an orgasm, and typically lasts 4-5 days. The discomfort prevents me from sleeping, so I have to take an anti-inflammatory

Help for these fingers and angel drawing update
Thanks to all who responded with help and advice about my fingers. Several possibilities have given me some possibilities that may help, physical therapy seems to be a possible solution. Also mention of tenosynovitis which I need to research since I’ve also been having trouble with my toes.

Low Ferritin again!
I am at my wits end with this. Please try to help. I have been in pain and trying to be patient for months. Also I haven't had time to get my wits together and ask for help on here as my family commitments have been many and stressful. My son now has CRPS again and his doctors are being useless and obstructive
