5 months on...
5 months ago my GP mentioned Endometriosis to me. A few days later my period arrived and the agony continued. That sparked my first post in this forum. But I'm now at a stage with this illness where I'm feeling isolated. No one around me gets it. They ask 'What kind of pain?', 'How are you feeling?',

Just when I thought things were getting better...
... the other half shipped me off to hospital because I felt like someone was pushing a big stick into the top of my head. Combine this with a battering headache, neck ache, nausea and only just being able to walk from the car, and you'll be about there. In fairness, the doctor was very thorough. He

Confused about treatment...
I was diagnosed with endo back in December. I didn't even think that I would be getting that diagnosis, I had always assumed all the pain I had was down to a cyst I had..lol..wish that it had been cause now that's been removed and then my pain would be ended.. but sadly no. I had a copper coil put in

Help, has anyone else got mental health problems and RA? Causing medication problems.
Hi everyone have just joined this amazing site. I was diagnosed with RA exactly a year ago, and things have just gone from bad to worse. I am in constant pain and often can't bear to move. I suffer terrible fatigue and even the smallest tasks are often beyond me. Just when I think the pain couldn't possibly

Left to deal with it on my own
Hi all, I'm 25 years old and fed up. Where to start? Well, I was initially diagnosed in 2013, I had a huge cyst on my ovary, it burst the day before I was due an operation. I had a laparoscopy a few months later and they found deposits of endo on my ovaries and womb. After that I tried the depo, numerous

Work guilt endo......
I have had 2 days off work this wk due to endo pain. It was excruciating bowel pain this morning that subsided to a dull bloats feeling. As you do not know when and how bad the flares are it's difficult to make an informed decision whether to phone in sick as it can just be a couple of hours of bad

It's all starting again
It's been a while since I've been on here as luckily for a year after my last laparoscopy in Feb 2015 showed that they couldn't find any endometriosis after finding some in a previous op. So I stopped my prostate injections and my HRT, had the coil fitted and strangely it all seem to disappear and I

Naproxen? Advice on duration?
I was diagnosed in 2008, started with naproxen/paracetamol/sulphasalazine but the in 2009 with Humira that worked quickly and fantastically well.but I still take naproxen twice daily for on-going wrist and other pain. As I assume we all do, I have blood tests every few months to check liver and kidney

Hi I am a newbie
I am Tanya I have Rheumatoid Arthritis for 5 years I have weekly injections of methotrexate injections and etanercept injections along with folic acid and naproxen. These help keep my flare up under control most of the time. I am a complementary therapist so I am very interested in alternative methods
