New results, appt with Endo on the 2nd Sept, do these results suggest I need T3, and could anyone attach evidence for me to send to her.
Although I’m on the
mirena
coil but maybe it’s not enough or could not enough T3 affect my oestrogen?)

Marina coil. Removed and best my arthritis has been for years
My friend had a marina coil and within months was being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I did a bit of Internet searching and as a result had mine removed about 3 or 4 years ago. I then stopped my medication and although I wouldnt say I'm cured I haven't had a flare up in my knees since. I have just recently

Coil and Endo
I have spoken to my consultant and they suggested trying out the
Mirena
Coil to help with the hormones and bleeding! I would like to know about the pros and cons such as does this affect? - Weight (again or loss if so is it significant?) - Contraception (is it effective?)

Laporoscopy or not
Due to this Gp referred to a gynaecologist who has now offered to do hysterescopy and laporoscopy with
mirena
coil fitting. I am worried about the laporoscopy, the recovery and being able to continue work.

Non hormonal endometriosis ‘treatments’
Does anyone have experience/options of non hormonal endo ‘treatments’, that can help with cysts mainly? I didn’t suffer with cysts until a couple of years ago, but they seem to be becoming more regular. I had surgery in October to remove 2, and I now have 2 growing back. They’re small, and not an issue

Is the Prostap (3mthly) injection actually working?
I’ve had my usual pains, a period that was heavier than it’s been for a year since I had the
mirena
coil and I haven’t had any side effects, eg hot flushes, mood swings. Can it ever not work or is this the calm before the storm? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Is this too many drugs?! Prostap, Tibilone, Norethisterone, Tranexamic Acid, Mirena Coil
I had a
mirena
coil fit in March, to help stop heavy periods. I have bled every single day since. The GP wouldn't remove it, as I hadn't given it enough time. Instead I ended up taking 9 Norethisterone a day (usually you take 3).

Really scared already
My question is if I’m taking the pill and got the
mirena
in I’m not having periods but does that mean I could still have endometriosis, I’m pretty sure I could but have read you have to have periods but obviously if your on conception you won’t??

Is the coil known to be more effective than the pill?
Why is the
Mirena
pushed over the pill? My gynaecologist has put me on the
Mirena
coil that I’ve had now for about 4 months. I am not really enjoying it to be honest and have been having quite a sore stomach and I feel like it is negatively effecting my mood. Feeling down and teary.

What to expect after successful operation to remove endometriosis?
They also replaced the
mirena
coil. I couldn’t stop crying with relief yesterday, but I’m also aware of how it can grow back. Would anyone be happy to share their experiences of what happened to them after a successful op? I just want to have realistic expectations and know what to look out for
