mirena coil and urinary issues
I was wondering if this could be related to the
mirena
coil or not? I have an appointment in march with the urology and gynaecology team which will hopefully be able to shed some light on this fingers crossed.

Does a laparoscopy show bowel endo?
Since having my
Mirena
removed. My bowel symptomns are back with vengeance. My GP who was Originally away for my first lap, Said they wouldn’t haven been able to see the effect of endo on my bowel by a laparoscopy. And may need a different type. Is this correct? Thank you x

Been researching the mirena coil alot...could it help?
Has anyone on here had any success with the
mirena
coil? Or bad symptoms? I'm most worried about depression, weight gain and decreased sex drive. At my wit's end with this crap disease. So dead against hormonal solutions but don't think surgery is the ultimate solution either.

Mirena Coil - positive story
Hi everyone, Just to say, I know that many people on here have had various (and sometimes awful) experiences with the
mirena
, but I think I am finally out of the horrible "settling-in" stage and life's pretty sweet at the moment.

Zoladex
I do have the
mirena
coil but it has only been in for 2 months now so has not settled the bleeding yet. I have heard some people talking about zoladex does anyone know if I can use it in addition to the coil?

What can I expect if I choose not to go on the pill for 3 months after Lap surgery?
[To cut a *very* long story short, hormonal contraceptives REALLY don't agree with me, and I am currently almost off the antidepressants I was on by necessity from my hideous years with the
Mirena
Coil (which was AMAZING for the physical symptoms... just ruined my life in every other way!).]

Mirena zoladex and tibolone
During the second one had
mirena
coil inserted but it didn't help. Last Friday my doctor put me on zoladex and gave me tibolone which I haven't taken yet as I'm terrified of the side effects. Was wondering if any of you had been on so many different hormones at the same time?

I'm new here - feel like it's all in my head...
I had also tried the
mirena
IUD but it gave me awful cramps and bleeding and I had it taken out. My periods came back pretty quickly (they didn't appear on cerazette that much). Holy flip. They were painful. Mainly days 1 and 2. If my period started in the night the pain would wake me up.

Symptoms and a sanity check
I have had heavy periods all my life although I now have a

Period after Prostap with Mirena?
I’ve had the
Mirena
coil in for 3 years and still had periods every few months if not every month (question 1 – has anybody else’s periods just continued on it?), last year I had 6, monthly Prostap injections with my last one being on the 8th of November.

Anyone had ventrosuspension? And found it to improve painful sex?
I had my first laparoscopy in july last year to look for endometriosis but none was found so a
mirena
coil was inserted to try and help with the symptoms. I also suffer with really painful sex during and after often with bleeding too, making it nearly impossible for me.

Mirena coil messing with my moods and skin
For about two months I've been having severe mood swings and terrible skin (adult acne). This has never happened before, and I can only assume it's coil related. I had it fitted early July last year and at first it was perfect, little to no pain and no bleeding (occasional spotting). Now my skin has

Possible PCOS
Recently I have had the
mirena
, the first one worked great, so I had it replaced about 18 months ago.

Recent suspected diagnosis
I have been put on the contraceptive pill and taken off it, had the
mirena
coil put in, had mefanamic and tranexamic acid. Each one has helped a little but the pain is still unbearable and the bleeding continues daily.
