Is trying Ryeqo worth it, or should I stick with the Mirena? I'd love to hear your thoughts! P.S. If Ryeqo doesn't work well for me, I won't be considering the Mirena coil again.

hi everyone, Has anyone taken dienogest and had the coil at the same time? Im 6 months post op and had the coil fitted during surgery but still in pain so dienogest has been prescribed. Little bit nervous to be doubling up on hormones. Any advice would be appreciated!

I just got a coil for my endometriosis... Just wondering how long did people bleed for after getting it inserted?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has had the mirena and been prescribed Desogestrel (progesterone only pill). If so what was your experience like with it ? As I’m still getting a lot of pain with the mirena and was advised this would be the best option.

Hi all, I have decided to go for Lap + Mirena for my Endo & Adeno finally later this year. However, before that Doctor advised me if I would like to do eff freeze I should do it before then after the lap + Mirena. It is mainly an endo linked to my bowel.

Can a Mirena resolve a bowel adhesion? Can a Mirena resolve an endometriosis scar that pulls? Google doesn’t seem to be able to answer this for me and the consultant just kept saying wait and see.

I have had so many blood tests but all have come back normal so I can only think I have hormonal imbalance from the Mirena. Has anyone else had the Mirena removed and if so did you suffer a crash or symptoms after?

I’m currently deciding wether to have a laparoscopy or try the mirena coil to help with my endometriosis, any advice of which would have more effect/which to try first?

I’ve been trying the mirena coil for my adenomyosis - have had it in for two months now. At the moment I’m finding my period to be 10x worse. I’m extremely nauseous, vomitting, and the pain is awful when cramping.

Is it the mirena or my age? I begged for them to try again after a few failed mirena attempts and now I'm worried it's making me crazy.

I was fitted with the mirena coil as I was advised that this should hel keep the endo at bay. I am also type one diabetic. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the mirena and if they found it helpful? Or if anyone also has type one and has any advice on managing 2 chronic conditions?

I’m struggling to make a decision between getting the Mirena or doing the laparoscopy. I have struggled for very long with pain and was never diagnosed. It has now severely impacted my digestive tract. Will just doing Mirena improve or maintain symptoms.

I've been asked if I'd consider the mirena coil which they'd put in during the lap but I've always been very unsure about it. I have suffered with low moods and depression before so one of my biggest concerns is it's effect on moods.

I had the mirena coil fitted about 8 weeks ago during a lap to remove endo but I've noticed any time I exercise, such as a light jog or just walking, I get a lot of cramps as soon as I stop. They are quite intense and radiate from my pelvis to back I was wondering if anyone knows why this could be?

I had all sorts of treatments, from pill, to depo, then ablation, then went through two medically induced menopauses with HRT, and mirena on top of that.

My doctor has suggested a mirena coil during the c-section but I’m not too sure about it. Any suggestions will be appreciated

I ve had the Mirena for 3 years when I had my son in 2021 and before that I had it for 4 years . Results said i have hyperthyroidism,see below. I read that Mirena can cause it, but I have never had no issues with Mirena.

Has anyone else had a positive pregnancy test with the mirena coil. A couple of years ago the day after Xmas I had severe cramping and stomach pains, more at night time. Obviously having the coil I didn't even think of pregnancy so I ignored the pains.
