Any advice for dealing with extreme anxiety of having to remove and replace hormonal coil?
So I had the
mirena
coil fitted about 2 years ago. Although everything has been great, I had an absolutely horrific insertion (I lost consciousness on the bed and vomited afterwards from the pain).

Has anyone had about trouble with getting their mirena coil removed? My gp has referred me for a procedure as she can't get it out
I've had 3 different mirenas fitted over 8 years. They have totally stop my periods. My last one hasnt seemed to help my endometriosis much. I'm in pain more often than not. I've gone for it to be removed also TTC but they couldn't get it out. I've been referred for a scan and potential d&c to remove

Booked to get a Mirena fitted and am worried - any good news stories?!
I was sent some information about the
Mirena
and in the meantime my endo symptoms got a LOT worse: sharp stabbing pelvic pain (usually on the left), lower back pain, discomfort relating to bladder and bowel, etc...

Ginger - am I onto something? I hope so!
I did my research, got some hormonal treatment (
Mirena
& Cerazette), and then searched the supplement list for something to support health. I bought a few things, then decided not to try them all at once (ha ha) before speaking to a dietician.

Are there any connections?
I am scheduled for a D and C procedure in two weeks time when she will also fit the
Mirena
coil, I felt the gynaecologist was very informative, experienced and had a good plan for me, so fingers crossed.

Mini pill & coil thoughts 💭
I know the
mirena
works for some and not others. I’ve changed my diet begrudgingly but feel better since doing so. Still early days. Any advice/ experiences much appreciated! 😌

Mirena Coil blood clotting - endo
I had the
mirena
fitted during the operation and experienced normal spotting for a couple of days. No bleeding for a while but now I’m on my 12th day of bleeding non stop! Started as a period then just spotting but still fresh blood coming out.

Natural cycles with endo
Hi everyone, I have been diagnosed with endometriosis for 2 years now and got the
mirena
coil fitted during my lap. I’m currently thinking about getting my coil removed and either going back on the pill or just having a natural cycle for a few months.

Anyone experience clotting with mirena?
I had the
Mirena
fitted in Jan whilst on prostap. My last 3 month Prostap injection was in March. Around mid-October I started with lower back pain and spotting which I guess was the
mirena
working /Prostap wearing off.

Coming off mirena (endo treatment) to start trying for a baby - anyone have any experience with this? What was your endo like?
I've now had a
mirena
in for the past 9 years, it has completely stopped my periods. I do still have endo pain at the time Im ovulating and when due a period which i manage with tramadol. I am nearly 32 and thinking of taking the
mirena
out, to start trying for a baby in the next 9/10 months.

Mirena could and mood swings
Hi, I have a laparoscopy and
Mirena
cool fitted in early September. In the last month I have noticed my mood has changed. I am more anxious, nervous, paranoid, short and snappy and wondered whether anyone else has felt similar? May just be me and the covid blues ( which I don’t think helps).

Treatment for endometriosis if estrogen is not an option?
She is not keen on having the
Mirena
coil (initial recommendation) so the the doctor wanted to put her on the pill to stop progression but it transpired she cannot take it because of migraines and the associated risk.
