Eczema and the mirena coil

Hi all,

I wanted to reach out to see if I could get some advice from the community. I’ve recently been fitted with the mirena coil after being diagnosed with Adenomyosis last year. Shortly after having the coil fitted, eczema has started to flare up on part of my body with thin skin (lips, eyes, folds in my arms, hands and fingers). Has anyone experienced this? My GP and gynaecologist are not listening and I have read that 5% of women who have the mirena coil experience eczema. If this is something anyone of you has experienced, what have you been able to do to get health care professionals to listen? Or any treatment methods you can suggest.

Thank you so much in advance,

Terryn
