Microgynon and Mirena Coil together? How did you get on?
I have been instructed to take the pill (despite having the
mirena
) until my 2nd lap (no date as yet) but after 3 days I have been sick every morning and am feeling awful! Anyone else taken both?

Post hysterectomy- endo and adenomyosis. Questions welcome!
The lap went well and I was relatively pain free for about 5 months, I had the
mirena
coil fitted during surgery. Then around Xmas 2020 I started to get pain again and then the bleeding started again and didn't really stop 😔.

Off Zoladex - feel awful! Please help!
I also have a
Mirena
coil, fitted during surgery. Over the past month or so, particularly even in the past two weeks I have felt awful and I'm sure it's getting worse- worse than I ever felt even on the Zoladex!

Negative laparascopy
They suggested the
mirena
coil to help my symptoms. Has anyone else been told they were negative and to get the coil and how did they find it? I have anxiety so I’m worried it will affect my overall mood. Thanks! Lauren

Surgery fears
After being discharged, I booked an appointment with a gynae via NHS who suggested that I tried the
Mirena
coil - which I did back in November 2020 - but it's been 9 months and I've been having my period every single month, still suffer from really bad periods - awful amounts of pain, really sharp to

Failed Hysteroscopy - next steps
I currently have the implant and tried various pills and
mirena
coil before so not sure what they will try next. Just looking to see if anyone has had similar experience and what other treatment they might offer? Thanks

I had my dreaded
mirena
coil removed yesterday, bit of a procedure as the strings were inside uterus etc but pleased it is out. I’ve been advised I will always need to take something for stage 4 endo and adeno as I’m only allowed one more surgery which is hysterectomy and likely colostomy bag.

Your experiences?
options to move forward, and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tried any of these and how they got on with them. 1) Depo Provera (contraceptive injection) 2) Zoladex (injection to induce menopause, plus HRT I believe) on a three month trial 3) Laparoscopy (potentially with insertion of

Mirena coil and leg pain
I am wondering if this is the
Mirena
? My consultant said this is not common with the
Mirena
. My regular GP said the same but other than this developing around about the time I had the Pfizer vaccine, I am a lost to explain this new problem. Has anyone else had leg pain/numbness with the coil?

Mirena Coil replaced
Hi I’m getting my
Mirena
coil replaced today as it’s been over 5 years since my first one. It’s been like night and day for me on the coil, no periods, minimal pain, even found it easier to keep weight off.

PMDD and endometriosis
I’m also considering going on the
mirena
coil for the endo and hear this might help? I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice about what I should do about these extreme feelings before my period which sounds very much like PMDD.

Mini-pill has ‘stopped’ pain ? Is this even endo?
While awaiting
mirena
coil I asked to be put on the mini pill as heard it could help. I started taking this in late March this year, For the last few months I am not exaggerating when I say my pain has pretty much stopped, as well as my periods.

Mirena coil pain
I had the
Mirena
coil fitted just two days ago and I am still in absolute agony. I’ve had to phone in sick at work today. Has anyone else had this and if so when did the pain ease off? I have read that you shouldn’t have any pain effecting your daily activities.

Endo bowel symptoms after hysterectomy
The pain always returned after any treatment and the only thing that worked for me was the
Mirena
coil. I would have 12-15 months symptom free with the coil. Anyway, I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago (everything apart from one ovary was removed).
