Where to turn now?
Hello again everyone, I’m really hoping someone has a miracle answer. I’ve just come off cerazette. I had high hopes for it working, took the headaches at the beginning, the random bleeding and worsened pain but what it’s done to my mental health was the last straw. I suffer with anxiety anyway but

Can Mirena Coil cause Bladder infection!?
Hey! Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a good one and has a very good new year! This is my first post in a while, I've recently started having the feeling you get when you have a bladder infection! Like the tingling/Burning feeling at the end of peeing..I've read on Google that it may be caused by

Feel like I've been dropped after having a lap that confirmed/treated endo. I thought it would be monitored after diagnosis?
I had my first laparoscopy a couple of months ago after having bouts of severe pelvic pain to the point of being unable to move and ending up in A&E for pain relief. I had the lap done privately as the GPs were always dismissive of my pain and I'd had enough. After my lap I've been officially diagnosed

Miscarriage Worries
Hi all, I found that I was unexpectedly pregnant last week. Husband and I weren’t trying but didn’t use contraception one night so here we are! I’m thrilled with the news as was told that we would struggled to conceive naturally. I was diagnosed with Endo in 2011 and have had 3 laps to treat 3 endometriomas

Zoladex or Mirena Coil
Hello, I am a little bit torn. I have just been to my gynaecologist as my symptoms of endometriosis have got progressively worse since my lap in May. I am on the mini-pill (progesterone-only), which I have to come off because it is not suppressing ovulation, which is only becoming more frequent. I can't

Laparoscopy-what happened
Hi all, Got suspected endometriosis on bowel. Had Mirena coil fitted in Feb and although the pain and fatigue has increased, the change in my bleeding and post period sleeping has been immense. Went for laparoscopy last week however I’m yet to find out what happened (my GP is on the case for me). They

Is the Mirena coil Ok?
I don’t seem to be getting on with POPs as I start to feel nauseas, hormonal and generally a bit rubbish. I never give it long until I stop taking it. I have endo and has a lap not so long a go so I need to get on some treatment to surpress future growth. I don’t mind the idea of bleeding for a few

Lap 3 on the horizon
I've been away from this forum for a while for one reason and another but endo has reared its ugly head yet again. You can see my whole story in past posts but basically I'm stage 3/4 endo and have had x2 laps, last one in march 2018. I have tried the pill, mirena and now qlaira with no luck or relief

Does mirena work
Hi I’m new to this I’ve just been diagnosed with endo on Tuesday and the gyno put the mirena coil in but the pain since has been worse than before it went in I’m on a trial for 6-12 months to see if that helps with the pain as he didn’t want me to have a lap straight away. Is there anything I can do

First Laparoscopy
Hello everyone, After suffering for many years with constant pain, I finally had a laparoscopy yesterday which confirmed I had endometriosis. After being led to believe that it was all in my head, it's nice to have a clear diagnosis. My Dr also inserted the mirena coil as well to try and reduce the symptoms

I feel like I'm the only one and no one understands...
Hey everyone. I'm new and this is my very first post. I have been suffering from anxiety since October of last year. I began suffering panic attacks and was unable to drive. Hormone testing
Hi there, has anyone had their estrogen levels tested? I've had excision over the summer which seems to be mainly successful but I'm still getting terrible bloating, awful fatigue, breast pain and occasional twinges after exercise in the areas operated on. I'm not on birth control (I had the Mirena

First gynae app, do I go straight for a laparoscopy or try the mirena coil first?!
I’ve had my first gynaecologist appointment and she’s advised most of my symptoms point towards possible having both adhesions from a previous c-section and endometriosis. She’s given me the option of going for a diagnostic laparoscopy now or waiting 6 months and trying the mirena coil to see if that

Pelvic pain
Hello. I am 47 y/o and have had pelvic pain with increasing severity over the last several months. The pain is constant over my entire pelvis with longer and longer waves of pain that feel like labor. I had a Mirena IUD since March but just had it removed last week and then the pain really skyrocketed

Hi, I'm new to this group. I had my first Mirena Coil fitted 14 years ago (under anaesthetic) at the age of 34. I had constant heavy bleeding and was told eblation, mirena or hysterectomy. Mirena stopped bleeding, but have continued to experience symptoms, I put down to Hashimotos Thyroiditis - anxiety

Contraception? Endometriosis and hypermobility
Hiya, I wondered if anyone had any advice as to what contraception worked best for them if they suffer from both endometriosis and hypermobility. Endo is of course fuelled by estrogen but then hypermobility is fuelled by progresterone. While waiting for my surgery date I've been put on Cerelle, a
