Adenomyosis/Fibroids - which treatment?
So an update following on from my recent Haemoglobin levels crashing and resulting in a blood transfusion... ...Well at 56 and surely close to the menopause I think six years of struggling with horrendous periods is long enough. It seems I have Adenomyosis and two 3cm fibroids. So, I have been

Oral Progesterone (Cyproterone)
Hi everyone, Just wondering whether anyone has any experience taking oral progesterone (brand name Cyprone) for Endometriosis? I just had my follow up appointment with my Gynae/Endo surgeron and rather than put me on Zoladex, which would likely screw with my anxiety and depression, he has asked me to

Mirena removal - hormone free! Any experiences?
Hi! I have been diagnosed with mild endometriosis and Adenoymyosis for about 5 years now, after trying multiple pills, oral hormones, the implant etc. since the age of 13, I was given the Mirena Coil back in 2015 and although not fantastic, it has been the 'best' of the bunch and I still had almost monthly

Should I go back to my specialist? Help!
Hello :) This is my first post... feel weirdly nervous! I had a laparoscopy in November which confirmed I had endometriosis. It was found on the bladder, bowel, near the urethra and both ovarian fossas (whatever that word means!), a nodule on my left side and some forming on the right - I don't know

I have written to PALS, what do you think?

Has anyone had success with Mirena coil even though cerazette didn’t stop their bleeding?
Hi. This is my first post. I am 44 and being treated by Consultant for suspected endometriosis (as haven’t had lap to confirm diagnosis). I have had many symptoms for many years which have been put down to bad periods, IBS and possible fibromyalgia, but all of which I now think may be due to endometriosis

The longest battle!
Hey everyone! Since I was 14 I’ve suffered with the most ridiculous periods, missing them, having too many and worst of all being in a stupid amount of pain, I’m now 20 and 6 years later I’ve finally seen nurses at the Family Planning Clinic (iCash) and they gave me a diagnosis of PCOS only 4 months

How do you deal with your pain? Working? Help me.
I'm a 24yr with Endo, was stage 4 when I went for my surgery, now have Mirena IUD in. I also take A long lasting pain killer (doesn't do much honestly) and when things get really bad I have to take codeine (knocks me out silly). I have the problem that I'm allergic go paracetamol, which makes my options

Thickened uterine lining
I originally posted a few months ago as I was having tests as it was found I had a thickened uterine lining. Well, I had the hysteroscopy and biopsies and thankfully everything was clear. However, I was told I have a large uterus and a possible fibroid within the wall which the Consultant couldn’t access

This is all new to me... finally had a consultation with the gynaecologist today, and should have a laparoscopy booked with in a month (I hope🙄) I just feel abit silly as the Dr said he may not find anything but there must be a reason for this pain! The Dr had also said for me to think about having

Laparoscopy and Laparotomy
Only 2 days to go until I go in for my diagnostic lap. They are treating any Endo at the same time. Reading through the consent form I have signed for. Laparoscopy and Laparotomy. I have no idea what the difference is. Also I signed to have the marina coil fitted, but after reading the reviews I'm going

Fluid in womb
Hello 😌 I got diagnosed with PCOS literally this morning at 23. My doctor has referred me to a gynaecologist as during my ultrasound scan they have found fluid in my womb and they’re not sure whether it’s relevant to the fact I’ve been spotting/on a light period for the past two months. Is that something

Gonapeptyl pain and 30 years in with Endo.
Hi all Hope you are all doing well and getting ready for 2019 X. First time posting so will try and keep it as short as I can (it's a lengthy story of 30+ years so will.keep to the basics 😁). Your posts have helped me immensely by just reading them, and wanted to post in hope of some collective advice
