After laparoscopy support
Last week I had my first lap surgery. When I was woken up from the anesthetic my surgeon said she found endo behind my womb and treated it. I expected this as the pain was around the rectal area. She also inserted the mirena coil which I had previously agreed on should she find any endo during surgery

Pain after mirena
I got the mirena inserted in late Septemeber and I've been getting on and off pain, sometimes I'm curled up in agony, trying to hold back tears. It's not match and I've had too check ups so far and they said everything is normal. Has anyone else had this, and how long did it take to calm down?

Lap didnāt show endo
I had my lap back in Aug and they didnāt find any endo, which in a way is good news. At the time they fitted me with the mirena coil. This hasnāt helped, Iām still have horrendous pain and I have tried every other contraception out there. I have had painful periods and everything that comes with it since

*New Here* Mirena Coil and Acne!
Hi all, Iāve had the mirena coil for about 11 months now. My Gynaecologist suggested it to decrease my endometriosis symptoms. I love the coil, I have barely any pain, hardly any periods and since I work in musical theatre it means I can live my life! HOWEVER, gradually over the year I have gotten awful

Anyone with both endometriosis and pcos??
Hi, I have diagnosed endometriosis. Because I got diagnosed a few years and have been trying to figure out how to live with it (had surgeries, am on Mirena coil etc) I never thought about continuing to research my symptoms. However it's been made apparent to me lately it is possible to have pcos as well

Anyone experienced crippling pain with insertion of the Mirena Coil?? I'm after recommendations as I'm so scared with upcoming appointment!
I need my Mirena coil re-inserted as it was embedded in my muscle & not the cervix last time around. Both when inserting & taking out, the pain I experienced was unbelievable & I'm so scared having to go through the process again... This time I'm having a block injected first but I'm still scared that

Mirena
I've had mine fitted this afternoon and my god I'm in agony! This is dreadful! The GP has made me bleed and I mean a lot, they had to give me gauze and tissues to clean it up and pads to get me home without bleeding through my jeans. Please tell me this wears off because its awful! š

How to deal with sharp endo pain
I am wondering how you are coping emotionally, physically, physiologically with sharp pain. I usually do not have pains, I have never suffered unbearable constant pains as some of you. After last year surgery I fell better. I have Mirena now for a few months. My PT said she cannot do much, my muscles

Sex with IUD
Hi everyone I had surgery for endometriosis last summer which has offered me a huge amount of relief. I was still having some pain however and the doctor after a scan confirmed I also have adymeosis. I have since been on the prostap injection for about 3 months and it has honestly been like a miracle
