Anyone with both endometriosis and pcos??

Hi, I have diagnosed endometriosis. Because I got diagnosed a few years and have been trying to figure out how to live with it (had surgeries, am on Mirena coil etc) I never thought about continuing to research my symptoms. However it's been made apparent to me lately it is possible to have pcos as well. It's become more obvious to me lately I might have that and want to get tests done. I have a fatty deposit at the bottom of my stomach which can be a symptom and I've been working out like a champ lately and it's the one area that doesn't see a difference. Also I'm getting hairier and hairier in all the wrong places and again this is a pcos symptom. I don't think it's a side effect of the coil as I've been on it for years and when I think about it I started getting this muffin top layer and more hair around the time I got my first ever period if that's relevant. I just wondered if anyone on here is diagnosed with both endometriosis and pcos. Would the fact I've had ultrasounds and MRIs and surgeries have shown up if I had pcos even if they weren't looking for it but endometriosis? Am I being paranoid or is it worth looking into? Hi, I have just realised that this post was 8 months ago! Did you ever find out if you had both? I was diagnosed with Endo 6 years ago (at 22) and have just been told that one of my ovaries is polycystic! I'm panicking because in the next couple of years I do want to try for children and It's added even more worry! I hope you managed to get some sort of diagnosis and reassurance!! x

Hey I have both. And have 3 beautiful children. Anything is possible 😊
