Trying for a baby
Hi, I’m 22 and I have endometriosis. I’ve had two laparoscopies one were the endo was burnt out and another when it was cut out but this was a few year back. Unfortunately I still have pain every day and really bad flare ups, I had zoladex for about a year when I was 20 but that didn’t help either. I

Mirena
I had the mirena fitted in February and I'm getting days of flare ups. The pain is still on a level it was before my laparoscopy in January and I feel horrendous. I keep getting bouts of spots all along my cheeks and jaw line and I've never suffered with spots. How long did your body take to settle

Getting more endometriosis whilst on IUD?
Hi ladies, I wanted to ask if anyone has had the experience of having the Mirena IUD and endometriosis growing back whilst being on this type of contraceptive? Is it possible for the endometriosis to grow back once surgically treated and on the IUD? I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis

Mirena coil?
Just wanting some advice/reassurance on the Mirena coil, I had it fitted 3 weeks ago, didn’t have much of a choice as doctors said they wouldn’t do a second laparoscopy without me trying the coil first. Also got prescribed naproxen to try and reduce the amount of codeine I’m taking (wayyyy to much for

I’m in more pain since being diagnosed and getting the coil fitted! Has anyone else had this or is it in my head!?
I first got my period when I was 12 and they have always been terrible, I told my mum and she told me it was all normal and periods are generally very painful and there is a lot of blood, but I always thought they were way too painful to be normal (In her defence I also thought my birth mark was cancer

Pain remedies for suspected endo- so painful I cannot sit properly or move as normal.
Hi! I'm new here!! :) I've not been diagnosed with endo (yet) as my doctor doesn't want to scar me so young. Despite fitting a mirena to treat pain, I am in so much pain still that I cannot sit comfortably and can no longer dance as I like to. I have a large cyst on my right ovary that exerts a lot of

Gynae question....
I've posted a few times recently about various issues i've been having, mostly gynae and mental health related. Thank you so much to everyone who has responded and taken the time to give me some really helpful and uplifting advice. I hope this isn't a really stupid question. I am far too embarrassed

How many contraceptive treatments did you have to be put through before getting a diagnoses?
Hi! So I am 19 and have had issues with extremely intense period cramps for 4 or so years now- I know I am young but unfortunately my periods were so heavy and painful I would not be able to move. As a result the doctors started me on the pill- I bled for 6 months straight on the first pill I took and

Right hand side, groin, ovary leg pain.
Hi everyone, I have been reading but haven’t posted yet. I had a laparoscopy and other procedures done along with having a mirena coil inserted in early January. It’s was for stage four endometriosis and they were lucky to get it all done in one surgery they said. It was my second surgery in five years

Mirena moved?
Hi all, hope everyone is coping as much as possible right now!! Does anyone have experience of their Mirena coil shifting into an odd position and causing constant cramps? Looking for reassurance and/or advice. I had a Mirena coil inserted on the 24th Feb and have been in near constant agony ever since

Endo & mirena w/out estrogel?
Hi everyone, I’m new on here. I’ve had the mirena coil for a year due to very aggressive endo (strictures in ureters, ovaries stuck, bowel adhesions) but had to ask for estrogen gel supplementation as I was unable to sleep due to excessive night sweats (45 so prob perimenopause). The pain and night sweats

Has anyone experienced increased anxiety with Mirena coil?
Hi all, as the title says really. My emotions are all over the place. One minute ok, then very low and anxiety sky high. Hard to know if this is caused by my treatment being put on hold because of coronavirus or if it's hormonal with coil 🤔 I recently posted about passing some large clumps of grey bloody

Confusing Blood Test Results
Hi, I'd welcome your thoughts on recent results please, some seem a bit strange and I'm unsure whether I need to change dose (currently on 50mg Levothyroxine and 25mg Liothyronine). I had the test at 9am, fasting and took meds after the test. I use the Better You sprays for Vit D and Vit B, and also
