Mirena Coil problems

Hi, hope someone can help!

I’m having some issues with my coil. Usually, I struggle to feel the strings as they are really high up but yesterday I felt a bit off side, very tired and moody so last night I checked for my strings and noticed that they were very low down like at the entrance of the vagina and now I’m having a strange bleed and pain in my lower right abdomen. I’ve tried contacting my local sexual health clinic but can’t get in touch with them at all! Does anyone have any advise? Or am I being paranoid?

Thanks in advance

Hi MelonMelon! Everything turned out fine, it’s turned out that the bleed I was having was my period, it was just lighter than normal and because I was on my period my cervix was lower making the strings seem lower down! I’m 7 months in now and haven’t had a period in 3 months so it’s great for me! The only issue I’ve had is acne! x
