Clothing for swollen pelvis
This is a bit of a random question but other than jogging bottoms and pyjamas what clothing to people find comfortable? It’s all rather depressing, I have severe stage 4 endometriosis for which I’ve had 4 surgeries so far and any further surgery comes with a high risk of causing “more harm than good”

Suspected endo?
Hi all, I’ve been suffering for many years with pain! So I have a 12 year old son and after him I had the mirena coil put in because most pills didn’t work for me I’d bleed really heavy for weeks and be in so much pain, tried the injection also didn’t suit so only option apparently was the coil, 8 years

Periods stopping(?)
Hey again everyone, Just wanting to ask if anyone has experience of the Mirena and it stopping periods? How long did that take for you? Did you take the coil out instead? I’ve had once since Dec 2019 and was told it usually stops them by about the sixth month mark but I’ve just had significantly more

Has anyone stopped the pill completely for less side effects but not TTC?
Hi all, I had a laparoscopy end of 2016 which removed 'superficial endo' although was definitely in need of the surgery due to the pain. I have tried what feels like every pill on the planet and not got on with any. I now cannot take any oestrogen pills e.g. combined due to getting bad migraines which

Struggling with getting a diagnosis
Hello all! I am new here, just joined today. I have been having symptoms for approximately 5 years now. I've seen many doctors over the years with complaints of pain. I have seen two specialists. The first specialist told me that he 'thinks' I have endo behind my cervix but would need to do a laparoscopy

Pain with a vengeance!
Hey, Haven't written on here for a while, ill shorten my story. October 2018 I was diagnosed with Endometriosis after having a lap done, which they then fitted a mirena coil. Took my body a fair few months to get used to it tbh, I no longer get periods and when I do they aren't blood anymore, just random

Irregular bleeding after coil removal. Help
I had the mirena coil removed at the start of August ( a year after I got it put in) to try for a baby. It's now October (over 3 months after it was removed), but no luck yet. Straight after the coil was removed I bled for around a week/ 8 days. In September my period was 9 days long and just now in

The pill and pain management
Hey, me again I wanted to share my experience with the pill. I was put on the pill alongside already having the mirena coil in. To help manage my pain. This was one of my last options as I am allergic to pretty much every painkiller I have been prescribed either that or they just haven’t helped at

Any tips for worsening pain?
Hi everyone, I had a diagnostic laparoscopy at this end of this July, along with the insertion of the Mirena coil. I'm still in incredible amounts of pain, and it's getting worse by the day. Nothing seems to be touching it, I've gotten to the point where I can't even do my housework or the dishes without

Intermittent throbbing pain lower right side.
Comes and goes several times a day, but almost always around the same time at night it will wake Me up and last an hour or so. On and off a few days and then no pain for a week or a few weeks. Always extreme pain, steady but sort of throbbing sharp and cramping into my upper R thigh sometimes too. Never

Pain after surgery?
I'm on my third week after surgery to remove endometrial tissue and have a mirena coil inserted. I'm still getting bleeding and period pain, does anyone know if this is normal at this stage, or if I should be worried?

Desperately need help/advice if possible!
I've always suffered from painful, heavy periods. So painful i'm violently sick and close to the point of passing out. In the last year i've started bleeding between my periods and have been suffering with debilitating mental health problems whilst menstruating. I've had the mirena coil a few years
